She's capable of handling it by herself. If Liara had panicked, and begged Shepard to rush back and save her I would have hated that. Liara is a very strong person!

However, I absolutely love the idea of Liara saving Shepard, or at least rushing to Shepard's aid when she finds herself in a difficult position. How awesome would it be if Liara swoops in just in time to stop Shepard being overwhelmed, and then the pair of them share a passionate kiss? Beautiful!


yeah lol i was tossing stuff out there, but i agree 100% and would be amazing if Liara saved Shepard. would make then even too :P

I just want her to kick ass! Oh and then Shepard and her can kiss...hehe. You illustrated it beautifully.

Indeed, ryn! I know Liara saved Shepard's carcass from the Shadow Broker, and being sold off to the Collectors, but I want Shepard to be alive and conscious when Liara saves her, so that she can properly show some appreciation, and so that she can realise just how devoted Liara is to her.

Plus the kissing can then be romantic, beautiful and just perfect!^_^

That being said does anyone else get super creeped out by Nyxeris? The way she talks about Liara outside her office gives me the chills.

I knew there was something up with her the first time I ever played. 

Besides that, I love the way Liara(Ali Hillis) says "Nyxeris".  Well she can recite the pages of a phone book and I would still love it.  :wub:

Oh yeah. Especially during a second playthrough when you know of Nyxeris' true nature. She acts a horrible, creepy little sycophant to Liara. The way in which she bows her head, "I was happy to help, ma'am." You just know that she's plotting to kill Liara as she sucks up to her. So creepy!

Ali also deserves credit for the way in which she voices Liara when she says "Nyxeris was very well compensated. Here, you need it more than I do." For such a simple line, Ali voices it in such a pained, emotional way. It sounds like Liara is desperate to help Shepard in whichever way she can, and she sounds so emotional. I love it!

Well said, Ali Hillis's VA work is incredible. Whenever Liara talks in either game I find myself in a trance, dosen't  always matter whats shes talking about, as long as shes talking.Image IPB

I wonder if there is a vid on youtube that only has the audio between her and Shepard?  Preferably Femshep for me because Ali Hillis and Jennifer Hale are music to my ears. <3  I'd make one myself but I am the biggest procrastinator in the world.  lol

Yeah! Having played through Liara's romance with FemShep, I absolutely love the chemistry between Jen and Ali. I think Jen absolutely nails it when she asks Liara "Are you gonna be okay?" She sounds so concerned, so caring, so in love!



This is one of my absolutely favourites, though:



"We don't have to do this, not unless you're sure."

"I have never been more sure of anything in my life."



As you can see from my sig, that Liara line is one of my absolutel favourites! <3

Yes exactly, and when she says "its really an honor to work with her". The first play through its like "ok, nice assistant, good for Liara" second play through its like " creepy spy for the SB *shutter* ".
