Im a strait female! Only reason ash hasnt been romanced yet is cause my male shep(only one) hasnt gotten near the end of the game yet. Jeebus! Its a trial but one day a male shep shall get to ME2, at least by the time 3 comes out



My other 5 sheps (female) go with Liara and Kai Kai.

That's one more male Shep than I've ever played.  The only one I ever made is still stuck on Eden Prime.

I definitely agree that there probably exists a substantial portion of male gamers who did that romance for the 30 second sex scene rather than the dialogue which led up to and followed it. I certainly don't think you're wrong there. Those people are missing out, imo, because it's the dialogue that makes the romance. Sex scenes are all well and good, but my greatest hope for ME3 is that romance dialogue is expanded in scope.

lol I have like 5 male sheps and 2 female, I personally like playing the male side better. You are right that the voice acting is better though. Just it doesnt bother me too much just b/c when i play I normally get into the game myself and that stuff doesnt cross my mind xD

yeah, would be nice if the romance dialog was expanded and contained even more character development with it.

I don't get this 'sex hounds' theory anyway...if they are that desparate for it, there are far 'better' vids they can watch on the internet.  Or, just watch the damn scene on youtube...why play the whole game just to see 1 minute of lesbo action?

Majority of my complaint comes to hales deliver of renagade lines and the suicide mission speachs. I play Paragade, so I hear alot of renagadel ines and Paragon lnies, if I am doing a pure Paragon Shepard, then it's a female because Hale does a better job, but for renagade, it just feels too forced where Meer does amazing and the suicide mission speachs where very weak for Hale IMHO.

To my knowledge, no one in the thread has claimed that anyone preferring FemShep/Liara or gay/lesbian relationships is a sex addict. It was acknowledged earlier that there do exist gamers for whom the sex scene was a kind of "pay-off" rather than a natural part of the relationship. In any event, I think people tend to get a bit to worked up in ascribing motivations. Everyone gets the chance to RP their Shepard however they want, that's the beauty of ME.

This is in response to Jtav's post (since there are now several in between).
