I survived Ultimatum and it won't be the first time I've thrown something against the wall. I just wish I had it for reference right now.
You survived Ultimatum? Amazing! Especially since half the Ultimates universe didn't.
I've only seen Redemption #4 so far, and my reaction is actually more 'meh' than 'rage'. And I've claimed in the past to be one of the only Liara fans who considers the end scene to be both good and a decent tie-in to her state of mind in ME2. Even then, I tend to have trouble explaining why. But I think it puts across that Liara feels devastated by the realization that Shepard is so far gone, that she can't imagine how reanimating what they have left can possibly bring the real Shepard back. "Better Shepard be left in peace rather than be brought back as a zombie", was my thought.
(Granted, a lot of the rage -- VERY sorry, york for saying this again, if you're lurking, but I think your quick summary missed the point of that scene, and I'll say it again, you
did tell us it was nothing but a quick recap, nothing more.)
Still, it's not a good comic. Speaking as a slightly-more-than-casual comic fan, I've seen some good comics. (Dark Night Returns, Batman: Year One, The Killing Joke, Watchmen, the entirety of Ultimate Spider-Man to about issue 110 or so... that's my idea of a good comic.) I've also seen some bad ones. (Linkara's reviewd most of them on Atop the Fourth Wall already, especially Countdown to Final Crisis and Dark Night Strikes Back.) This was almost solidly in-between.
