I actually interpret a couple of the things that happen on Illium as subtle little nods or references to us Liara romancers. Like the asari who has lost her locket that contains a picture of both herself and her deceased human bondmate, that she still mourns over deeply. Plus, the way Shepard gets that hilarious little offended expression when that asari in the "Blue Rose of Illium" sidequest trivialises human/asari pairings. Yeah, a few little objects of fanservice for those of us who romance Liara, IMO.

Shepard makes the most adorable scrunched up face at that part! I have to record that when I get to that part. I might add it in to my Shep/Liara tribute video.

Lmao, I kinda wanted to say something along those lines but I refrained myself.
@Les, I got that impression as well, when those two asari said them things, my mind went right to Shep/Liara. It was bit of sunshine on an otherwise gloomy experiance, on Illium.

Also, I like listening to the turian and asari couple decide which souvenir they wish to buy on the Citadel. Another little reference for those of us that romance Liara, IMO.

Whilst I find your reluctance to enter a long-term and committed relationship somewhat understandable, it is not fair for you to so readily dismiss an asari and human couple. I myself am in a loving and devoted relationship with a human, and I value her and my relationship more than anything else!

If any krogan will be squadmate then Grunt but Wrex (lives in my games) will be at 99% just guest appearance.
