Great overall color mixing. Balanced composition and nice use of opacity.

I find myself wondering how Liara got her information brokering enterprise off the ground. She doesn't strike me as the type to have many useful contacts, unless she was calling in favors owed to Benezia.

What i don't find to add up is that when you see her 2 years later she seems to soical as before she stated that she wasn't used to talking with people .

More as the Krogan leader. I think if Wrex is dead and/or Genophage cure destroyed then no Krogan allies against the Reapers. Default ME3 seems to go to Renegade from what we saw in ME2. With Liara depends whether they use the take over SB´s organization as was planned. She would have a powerbase not aligned with the Council, Cerberus or anyone.
I really hope Bioware doesn't have her take over the SB's organization. One gets the sense Liara doesn't particularly enjoy being an information broker, and honestly, I'm not really sure how helpful SB's organization would be against the Reaper threat. It's possible SB might have some useful data on them, but that could be sifted through and deciphered on board the Normandy. Outside of that, it's pretty hard to see how SB's organization could really help all that much against a threat as unsubtle as the Reapers.

I don't think she would have any contacts herself. Benezia was probably the most powerful/influential asari in the galaxy (maybe the Councilor was more so but that's debatable) so Benezia connections would be my guess. I do believe she mentions something about getting respect due to being a part of Shepard's team as well.

On the Normandy? If this is where her story arc goes and it´s post suicide mission could be. Otherwise it would mean handing SB´s data to TIM. My paragon Shep certainly does not want that.
Well I'm pretty sure that if we get a Liara/SB expansion it's going to take place post-suicide mission as part of the "bridge the gap DLC" that Casey Hudson recently mentioned. Otherwise, we'll likely be taking care of the SB in ME3 where it will be recognized that a Paragon Shepard has cut her/his ties to TIM. Either way, I'm pretty sure Liara's dealing with the SB will take place at a point in time where the Normandy belongs completely to Shepard rather than Cerberus.

Those would also be my thoughts.
Benezia was an utterly powerful matriarch with big influence.
Liara helped to Stop the attack on the citadel, what certainly gave her some credit.
[Speculation] Some other contacts were made while travelling with Shepard. Maybe on Feros/Noveria, ok thats a bit imagination...
[Speculation] During her work with Cerberus (maybe a bit far fetched. ^^)

I don't know, maybe she has some Cerberus contacts. I doubt she had time to make them on Feros/Noveria though.

Yeah, it's possibel with Cerberus contacs. But i still thinks it's also possible for Feros/Noveria, maybe Liara came back there once?
But it would be nice to have some more information about her development to an information broker in ME3 (or future DLC/expansion pack)...
