I really wonder if Mr Walters is proud how he killed this whole series and Liara especially...
Fact of complete silence from side of the Bioware only fueled this "Oh noes... Liara is evil" movement and seriously i really wish that Bioware never implemented her in ME 2 as they do whit DA:O Lis in Awakening so perhaps would be less sorrow here on this forum...

Thing is, with the way Liara has been written so far and if you analyse and read between the lines with her ME2 scenes, there's no real way they can go the evil Liara route without it seeming incredibly contrived and forced, and existing for nothing more than forced drama.
I actually think that BioWare's intention with Liara's ME2 scenes was to decieve the player initially that they're going down the tired old AriBastila route with Liara, but that as Liara opens up more and you analyse her and read between the lines, you realise they're going to avert it completely.
That's why they made the conscious decision to have Liara using Matriarch Benezia's threat when the door to her office first opens. It's to shock the player, and make it seem as unpleasant and jarring as possible. When you finally break through Liara's shell and she opens up, you realise that all the "dark side Liara" crap is not the case at all. If he didn't shut down the thread back in the 930's, I seriously doubt he's going to shut it down now. And ... I don't think it's necessary, really. I stopped posting in here regularly (barely anyone noticed, but enough about my ego) because there's nothing to talk about.

I hope you are right. I do not want the tired AriBastilla 'evil' Liara path to occur. I'd be very unhappy with the romance if it took this turn.

What statement would that make, I wonder?
I think people worry that the devs won't see a 'Liara support thread' (when every other LI has one) and will think no one likes Liara anymore, and may use this to justify keeping her out of ME3. I don't think this, as it seems they care less about the support threads, but I think that is the worry of some.
