The thing about the differences in romanced/nonromanced is, it's definitely subtle from what I can see. Kind of like the whisper-artifact that I actually did NOT see on my playthroughs on the 360, but DID see on youtube. So I do not blame ANYone for being skeptical.
Agree entirely, Jayla. I'm being very tongue-in-cheek with J when I'm "arguing" with her over this, and she probably knows that too.

It is very, very subtle though, and incredibly easy to miss. The only reason I found it is because I analysed the two scenes extensively not long after release. Yes, Liara means that much to me and yes, I am that far gone. XD
Truth be told, though, the real point of debate and topic of contention should be that BioWare thought that subtly altering Liara's facial expressions during the reunion scenes was an adequate way in which to showcase the difference between a romanced and nonromanced Liara. We shouldn't have to analyse the scenes for subtle differences in order to find acknowledgement of the romance!
