Thats a good point Les, never thought of that. I could see a lot of possibilities with the story arc of Liara/SB in the future. Because there are questions like "well, why not just kill Liara now? hes the SB!". It looks like these questions are left unanswered, but again it could be something as simple as, she knows something we don't, and we will find out in ME3. And that IMO would fit the story arc quite nicely.
The most possible reasons are either she has info that would go public if she dies, or someone is protecting her. Maybe her "father" is powerful enough? People in Benezia´s circle were probably big players in asari society.

That would make an interesting twist. If not her "father" then maybe someone that was close to Benezia, that is equel to or more powerful then Benezia? There are a lot of powerful Matriarchs I would assume.

Here, I'll help you out, Bob. If you've begun flirting with Liara, then take her to Flux. Walk onto the dancefloor, and get both Shepard and Liara roughly in these positions:

Then, press the button as if you're going to talk to Liara, and then that should trigger the dancing. Voila! Then you can admire Liara's sexy moves.

That makes me smile. So does that pic of Liara dancing. Her eyes are hypnotic.

She says that when you ask her about her work the second time, but did not bring up helping her the first time you spoke with her.

I also think Liara's reasons for this anti-SB mentality could revolve around the Collectors. I mean if she knows the SB is working with the Collectors thats reason enough to take him(?) down. Not only that she could know something about the situation we don't.
Agreed. I'm hoping that with this data cache that Liara is now in possession of, she's aware that the Shadow Broker, as I theorise, is in deep with the Reapers and assisting them. It would show that she's still very much aware of the bigger picture with regards to the whole Reaper plot.
I think that as well, but I also believe she's doing it for Feron. After all, she picked saving a corpse over saving someone that was still alive, and someone that she just started to care about.
Now about the ME1 vs ME2 thing, I think ME1 had a way better story, but ME2 is still a way better game. ME1 felt incomplete, copy and pasted, with crappy combat, and useless powers (Immunity, Marksman, Lift, and Singularity being the only good ones). Level design was very uninspired sometimes (big empty rooms, plain white walls, same rocky terrian planet with a different color and weather effect, etc), and the UNC assignments killed the game for me, with it's terrible Mako (it was always better to fight on foot), and repetitive mission setup.
With ME2, everything's short and simple. Combat actually involves skill and good squad management. Powers serve a combat purpose besides spamming lift/singularity. Level design looks amazing. And no Mako. Yes, story isn't as good as ME1, and the Loyalty missions are repetitive. I miss the Citadel setup where you can do side missions that just involve talking to people, and more become unlocked as you play the game. I miss the elevators. But at the end of the day, I pick the game that's more fun to play.

Agreed. I'm hoping that Liara being aware of the Shadow Broker possibly being a pawn of the Reapers and assisting them is also used in addition to her guilt, fear and emotional pain over handing Shepard over to Cerberus, her fear Shepard will hate her, and her guilt over Feron sacrificing himself. It would give Liara's hunt for the Shadow Broker and her reasons for doing so a far deeper dynamic if there are various reasons as to why she's doing so.
