Well, if they go by the first game, I don't see how they can do it w/out her.  Besides, it gives Shep a love triangle w/ Ash and Liara.

If Biowhore makes the film about the current game characters, you know then we are in deep shtick.



They might just do that however, as they have with ME2 and its "third person narrative" where "Shepard is Biowares character, not the players". Unlike ME1 where its "your story, your Shepard".

I think the point he was raising was that either Liara is going to be a damsel in distress or she going all RAAGH LIARA SMASH!

Pretty much.  She'll be 'Kirk-bait' for Shepard to bang so he can have 'coolz alien mind sex!' before moving on to the 'legit' relationship with the human, Ashley.

In the sequel, he'll Renegade 'bang' Jack, use Tali as his new 'Kirk-bait' before settling down in the 'legit' relationship with the human, Miranda.

I wouldn't be surprised, given BW's 'mature' handling of love, sexuality, and relationships in ME2

I'm ignoring the movie exists, unless Liara is the lead and it's an 'Indiana Jones' style movie where we follow her on archaeological adventures!

When did they claim that ME was a "third person narrative"? Seems slightly silly to say.

But hey!

It would solve why Shepard does not show any emotions at all!

So has the tossing around of the casting ideas for Liara's character begun yet?
