It would solve why Shepard does not show any emotions at all!
They have been saying that a lot recently about ME2.
I personally think its a transparent attempt to justify the new, slimmer dialogue with less substance.
Great you improved the dialogue cutscenes, making them more vital and heavily animated, but with the tradeoff being crappier dialogue, I dont think I want the trade.
They went too far making Shepard talk without direction from the player, and too many instances where your only options were "jerkass" and "neutral".
But, must not forget that "shooty shooty" was the prime target of ME2. Its not about how the dialogue is misleading and becomes more shallow, its about how often you can take cover, pop out and headshot an enemy! Or just hit em with a big splosion gun!
