Looking forward to seeing the finished version, MDK!

I notice that you're not going to show Liara's face with any detail at all until it's finished. Tease! ;-)

Regarding people's fears that BioWare will start to overly sexualise Liara, I'd hate it if they ever did something like that too. Liara's very modest, and wouldn't go around flaunting her body in that manner. That's just not Liara. I don't think they're going to go down that route either. Looking at her ME2 dress, although it's pretty form fitting, it's still very modest and covers up all of her body. It's not as if she has her cleavage or legs on display. That's why I like the dress. It's very pretty, but still true to Liara's character.

Something like Liara's armour in Redemption would be nice. Sexy, yet practical.

Yes, it's not that she's not sexy or sexualized to an extent, I just don't want it to become gratuitous (cleavage popping out everwhere, for example) where her look is all about the sexual aspect.

The ME2 squad have no loose ends. Thats what the whole "loyalty mission" garbage was about.

Why dont you just face it, the ME2 squad are expendable, and many variations are dead for a lot of folks.

Getting a cameo is what they deserve for how they have been written.

Really? Lets look at Miri. She quits Cerberus and is in a romance with Shepard. How will it work, will they settle down, what will happen to Oriana, will TIM attack Oriana, will Mr.Lawson and TIM partner up and attack Oriana, will they attack Shepard and Miri, will Oriana be killed, will miri betray Shepard to save Oriana?

Look at all thosel oose ends, that IS NOT CLOSURE. You just want the people who fell in love with the characters to suffer because your fav character was not a squadmate in ME2, boo hoo. Ash was also not made a squadmate and you don't see me being bitter. My fav character Wrex was made a cameo, you don't see me raginig and hating the ME2 squad.

Oh man, I don't see this going anywhere good...

What? Let me just say that in ME 1, Shepard was not like  all the time, obviously not. Certainly not in the Liara romance, nor anywhere else. Just to make it clear, a soldier will sometimes , but that's not what I'm talking about. Shepard was allowed to care about things and people, and even about him/her self. If anyone can not see the difference in ME 2, it's their loss. Some people keep saying we just bash the game because we didn't like what happened to Liara, but there are obviously many people who are so happy with their new romances that it blocks their view on the rest of the game.

And that's that, I would prefer if we could get back to the topic.

1. Shes potentially dead.

2. Shes potentially not romanced.

3. She wasnt there to "quit".

Are you seriously telling me Bioware is prepared to committ massive amounts of resources necessary to make her an important squadmate when for potentially up to 50% (worst case) of the player base might not see it? After everything weve seen in terms of carryover so far?

No, better to restrict it to a cameo, so that the role can be dramatically changed through those variables.

Already on their DNP list.

I don't fancy my work being exhibited beside Rugrats porn.

Still, this thread seems to be building up a reputation for notably risque images. And I'd hate to have to start saying that reputation is deserved.

You do know she is the hardest to kill right? In fact the only way for her to die is if you skip her personal mission or side with Jack and don't get her loyal back. You then have to bring her to the Human-Reaper for her to die. Bioware made it very hard to die because out of all the characters, she is very importent to the Cerberus plot. She is the only Cerberus opertivet hat Shepard knows that knows where TIM's locations are, secrets about TIM and ways to get in and monitor them. You want to kill a character, you should pay the price. You want to make characters expandable because they are not your fav character then you misso ut, thats all there is too it.

Indeed. One thing that I absolutely love about Liara is that you get the impression that she's completely unaware of just how attractive and appealing she is. "Me? I'm afraid I am not very interesting." Sure, she's very comfortable with her sexuality, as evidenced by the way she kisses Shepard and the way she dances for her, but Liara doesn't flaunt herself at all because she doesn't consider herself to be that sort of person.

And that is way more sexy and attractive than someone who wears high heels and has their cleavage on display!

Well in that case, I won't bother posting the finished product.

You know Kraidy, youre making a mistake that ME1 LI fans, myself included for Liara made: You think youve got it sussed out. Youre so convinced by your "facts" that you cant even conceive of the fact that all it takes is some crappy Bioware writing and *poof*, Miranda is sidelined for ME3.

Learn from the Liara fans mistakes, and understand that Bioware will go to any lengths to write a character out of the game if they deem it necessary.

And Im telling you, with the variables the ME2 squad has, *potential death* chief among them, either expect a cameo, or one of the crappiest, most poorly fleshed out roles youve ever seen in a video game.

Edit: I havent even pulled out the "each game is standalone" gem yet.

How on earth can it be standalone with a character like Miranda seamlessly transferring from ME2 to ME3? How is that going to fly with the newbies?

I have proof that you hate ME2 and the squad because liara was not in the game, do you really want me to go qoute mining again, do you really want me to get those qoutes that proof what you said? I have no problem showing that you are a ME2 hater because there is no Liara in it. Do not push it Dink.

Only time I remember Shepard  is with Liara (big one though: so you´re messed up for saving me and beating yourself for handing my body to Cerberus? Thank you ). Other times I think Meer gave emotion when the engine isn´t up to task. Biggest offender is still Liara in Benezia´s death. Her face vs voice was ...

Same way RotJ was stand alone?
Miranda: left/didn´t leave Cerberus and how it plays with her sister. That and romance is all there is from ME2 to ME3.

Go ahead. Those quotes actually prove I hate ME2 for being a bland, ****** TPS which is no secret at all, but mine away.

I may have to check in the morning, but if you really want to look that pathetic, go right ahead.

If you dont mind, since you took this off topic by ignoring my point about Liara, Id rather contribute to some Liara dicussion for at least a while before schooling you again on why the "standalone" ME3 shouldnt have the ME2 squad as squadmates.

Forget it.The character doesnt bring anything to the table after Mass Effect 2. What the big cerberus things could be if she refuse to fight against a paragon shepardt to keep the base? She loose all her value in this case. This is also true otherwise,if shepardt keep the base,he gained the trust of the illusive man and will get all the important informations and support.

So anyway, here's a picture of Jennifer Shepard, my new Engineer Renegade biatch Shepard who's in love with Liara:

J was kind enough to create her, and take screenshots after I gave her Jennifer's facecodes. Thanks J!
