Well, to expand on my previous statement, the type of sexualization they're objecting to is done in a masculine light. For example, they're quite scornful of explicit artwork with Male Shepard and Liara. But with pieces with Female Shepard with almost the same atmosphere, it's embraced and labeled a showcase of "their love and intimacy".

Methinks it's a mixture of double standards and the preference of the majority of the posters here.

Im not going to get into that, despite thinking there are some key differences.

All I will say is that deviantart is designed specifically to accomodate the kind of artwork MDK insists on creating. These boards arent. I dont think this thread is the place for softcore lesbian sex pics. Unless hes posting completely clean and clothed pictures, I think it best if now those fans of MDK are simply informed he has a new work up at deviantart and go *there* to see it, isntead of mildly censoring still clearly NSFW pics here.

Hey thats fine by me. I never liked your artwork, because Im not a huge fanart fan in general, particularly of femshep.

Since you do have some fans here however, maybe you could communicate with them on your DA page like it should be done.

Or are you just going to "rage quit" (I believe that was the term, correct?) because I dont happen to agree with posting smutty lesbian sex on here? I have no problem with it taking place in somewhere specifically designed to accomodate it, like a group for example. This forum isnt the place though (that is only if youre going to continue posting nude lesbian sex pics of course).

I hope you don't mean that.  You have many, many fans in this thread, and we would hate to see you leave.  To accomodate those who don't want to see your artwork, maybe you could just post links to your images from now on.  I think that is a fair compromise.  It would be a shame for you to simply walk away from this place.  But if that's what you decide, I'll still try to keep this thread updated on your artwork.

I don't think your art is smut, some people have small minds, or of an age that they can't handle anything slighty erotic........I find your work beautiful, I am sorry that you will not post your work anymore. it is our loss.

MDK's artwork that featured Liara and Freya always put a smile on my face.  It was something to look forward to when let's be honest, these are pretty dark times for a Liara fan.  Not only that but the artwork featured a Liara in love with Freya Shepard, a woman.  Some people aren't going to understand this but it is really something to see when everywhere else it's "canon" male Shepard shoved into our faces.  It was a nice escape from all of that.  I'm not going to debate who is better between Male Shep/Fem Shep, I'm just saying that MDK's artwork was very refreshing. 

Yes, but not just in the MEU but in real life, in general.  There's not much f/f or male homosexuality depcited in any kinds of media.

I'm hoping my comment didn't influence that decision.  I have no problem with your artwork.  I was merely commenting on the reactions people have to various depictions of Liara.  On the other hand, if your problem is with Dinkamus, I can completely understand.  He is a nasty, spiteful little troll without an ounce of tact.

Sure, you and the rest of the whiners here keep telling yourself that. I dont spend enough time in this place to care anyway. There are far better places servicing the Liara fandom than this post count seeking, pic spam mess.

I think we should only start a thread when the devs are active again on the forums, looking for ME3 feedback.  The thread can be focused on our disappointments with the handling of Liara's character in ME3 while remaining hopeful for her role in ME3 (since being just negative won't get us far with them )

But that's just like, my opinion and stuff.

I think by the time the devs crawl out of there holes again it will be pretty much too late for any feedback,also by that time they will be busy hyping ME3 so they will of course promise the world again and brag how "important" certain characters are to the plot
So I think either they collect the reactions now or never,which personally I would say never is more likely and they will just make her the new SB or a squadmate or whatever they have in their minds
