I'm just curious but what biotic class did you play?
In what game? In ME I played all the class's and Adapt was WAY to overpowered.
I mean in ME2. While I know that biotics were a wee bit overpowered in ME1, adepts in ME2 felt clunky, weak and ineffecient. A complete opposit with the engineer (weak and boring in ME1, fun and balanced in ME2).
I liked the Adept class in me 2 , i dont really like the vanguard class in me 1 as it seems week to behind with.
It's all about the charge
Yeah, every class is good. It just comes down to knowing how to use your special ability.
As for me, I'm a Vanguard with Claymore/Krogan Shotgun. That's my main style of gaming. I also play as an Infiltrator with Widow.

I find it interesting that the people who complain about the potential sexualizing of Liara in the comic and other media seem to also be fans of MDK's work which features her unclothed and engaged in foreplay with FemShep. I don't mind the naughty art at all, I just think there might be a little disconnect in the logic there. Has anyone else noticed that?
This is interesting, and worth debating. Too bad some people are unwilling do so properly, or maybe just unable.
Anyway. There's a difference. If you want an example for sexualizing, look at Kelly in ME 2. In the end she's reduced to be the priiize, a piece of decoration in Shepard's cabin. At least the developers portrayed it to be her own free will, but the intention and the result are obvious enough. This is distasteful and disrespectful, even though she's only a virtual character. It may still be nice to look at (personally I find her outfit a bit silly), but it doesn't change the fact. What people fear is that the same would happen to Liara in a movie, she'd just be the pretty little thing to be plucked by the cool hero, and then just as quickly forgotten. Oh, just like Kelly, she wouldn't complain, the writers take care of that. But it's still bad taste. I wouldn't like to see a character I like be reduced to such a role.
On the other hand, the characters in the ME 1 love scenes wear even less than Kelly does, but it's done tastefully, as everyone will agree. The woman is not reduced to a thing, her own feelings are taken into consideration. In that case, the depiction is a natural part of the scene. It goes without saying that it still shouldn't be too graphic.
Now, it's everyone's own business if they want to see stuff like that. But it's not a double standard if someone likes MDK's work and at the same time doesn't want to happen to Liara what I described above.
This is well said and I agree 100%...I should have replied too but I'm sick of explaining the idea of 'context' with this issue

This.
If we're going to talk about combat, one of the major things I am looking forward to seeing is Liara's in ME3 or dlc.
She's had two years of going after the Shadow Broker's goons and is fuled with enough rage from losing Shepard that I'm pretty sure she will kick some epic ass when we finally see her!

I hate to be negative, but let's look at it this way. You're coming to this thread to talk about Liara, or talk to the people here, etc, only to have to view through a full page of naked F/F pics with Liara (despite censored), or pages of pages of Liara's face, without much talk going on. I'm on my lunch right now at work, or maybe at school when it comes to the F/F art, etc. Not saying this is all the time, but it happens a lot. Get what I'm saying?
Anyways, about Liara, has anyone tried making a music video yet?

I'm simply replying to a response.
Anyways, I hope she doesn't beat people to death in ME3 or DLC, since the comic is what's making me stay loyal.

I agree it should be linked, but I was commenting more on an attitude than the actual pictures themselves.

Liara needs a presence on the public forum, if only for the new fans who occasionally stumble into it. If I was brand new to the Bioware forums, and didn't see a Liara thread, I'd feel sad and rejected. Those of us who are veterans know better than to assume that Liara has no fans, but we need to be open to new members. After all, these are the people who will be the veterans of the future.
Sappy, I know. Just deal with it, OK?
