I still can't get over how they didn't have Liara state her full motives for going after the Shadow Broker at the end of Redemption, as it was outlined in ME2, and that how handing the corpse over to Cerberus was a deeply traumatic and guilt-inducing act for Liara. What were they thinking?

I know it's a comic book, and that (bar a few exceptions) it's not really the medium to explore a character's emotions, feelings and feature deep character analysis and depth, but still. They should have shown these things with Liara.

lol yeah it kinda upset me. I understand its a comic but still... its something I feel should have been explained or would have been best to explain. Either way only can hope for good quality DLC and of course Mass Effect 3

Hey Andaius!

Nothing much really being discussed at the moment, sadly. We're all just waiting for E3, hoping that there will be some news of some Liara content.

Hey Andaius!

Just playing Mass Effect and watching the thread, nothing going on a whole lot besides *crossing* our fingers and waiting for E3 with some news of Liara DLC

Oh was thinking of how Liara will look like in ME3. Wonder what the graphics will be like and how far they will improve. I'm sure not by much but ME1 to ME2 was a  good difference when you placed the 2 back to back. Both games have had really good quality when it comes to that. ...and Liara has always looked good

The first time I see her in ME3, I will get tears in my eyes.
I know I did in ME2 along with butterflies. <3
If only a real woman could do that to me! rofl

Then you haven´t been reading the right ones. The points you make about the end of Redemption were surprising considering the writer´s (Miller not Walters) job in the Kotor comic, despite being set years before the game and the game ties were beta plot at best.

I don't think I've seen this posted in this thread.  Lots of inaccuracies, and a bit of mean-spiritedness in its creation (I didn't create it, it's cropped from a larger picture), but Liara's typing is adorable.

Hi, Liara thead!

Special greetings to MarcinR and Deltaboy!

I am not a Liara fan myself, but one can't deny the truth: she is the Number One non-player recruitable character of the trilogy. So when I was coming up with a bunch of silly ideas about what ME3 plot could look like, Liara was heavily present in it. So I think you just might be interested in checking it out, to, you know, have some insight into what other people honsetly think of Liara's character and her role in ME trilogy.

What, exactly, do you find adorable about that? <_<

Unrelated, Mass Effect going multiplayer? Yay! How cool would a deathmatch against Liara and all these other funny characters be? Finally they have some use, not all that boring talking and romances and stuff! <_<

Wow, I thought the movie was bad enough! Image IPB

They could be doing the multiplayer like Fable 2, it was a good idea but it was poorly done.

The typing is an exaggeration of Liara's youth.  We tend to associate youth with poor typing skills.  We never see what she actually types on her computer.  It's the combination of two things that haven't been formerly combined in a formal setting.  Nothing else about that picture is adorable or amusing.

Think I'll go through with my plans to anthrax Bioware HQ if they add MP to ME3...If they make a completely new ME game like...Mass Effect Alliance Marine (Or some such nonsense) Then I wouldn't really mind...And yeah, If Liara doesn't have a big role in ME3 I'll do it too :D

Multiplayer doesn't belong in these three ME games. If it's released with the game, it would take from resources that belong elsewhere. If it's released with the game, it lends credence to the arguments of the critics of ME2 who assert that the game focuses too much on the TPS elements.

We do? I would associate poor typing skills with several things, but youth is not the first thing that comes to mind. Certainly not if someone is old enough for the other things that picture suggested. Anyway, one of the adorable things about Liara is her intelligence, I highly doubt she would ever type like that. Plus, the content doesn't fit her character. At all.

And that's that. ;)

Oh well.  I guess incongruous humor isn't something Liarafans can enjoy.

I haven't seen very many people ask for MP on these boards or anywhere.  I play on Xbox with people who aren't hardcore fans but liked ME and they don't even want MP.

All I hear on these boards and everywhere else is more focus on story, romances, and exploration.  Look at all these character threads.  I don't see one dedicated group of fans with, "Bioware, We Want MP for ME3!" :bandit:

Yeah, but we're just a small minority, even the Tali fans. The mainstream doesn't care about any game so much they'd visit any forums. But that's the audience BioWare/EA are after now. And just like the shooter crowd didn't frequent the BioWare forums back in the days, the multiplayer people probably just aren't here yet.

If ME3 is dumbed down even more than 2 is, or has MP then I'm not gonna buy it, simple as that.

Agreed.  This is the problem, we're here passionately caring about the direction of the game series... and yet, even the whole of the Liara fan club is less than a tenth of a percent of everyone who bought the game.  So I don't think that they'll implement anything solely on what we say we like or dislike.

Still, I'm of the opinion that someone so central to the plot of the first game and is guaranteed to make it to the final game wouldn't be so horrifically marginalized without much stronger hints than the ones we've seen.  Liara's got not only a significant part in ME3 coming to her, but a real significant part, as opposed to a Casey-significant part.  (Oddly enough, I seem to have escaped hating Mister Hudson, which seems to be a rare fate in this group and thread, but his facts often ... aren't, and Ash, Kai and LiLi having significant parts in ME2 was one of those non-facts.)

NO way its going MP lol maybe different games later on in the mass effect world after all they did flat out say there would be games later on after the trilogy. They said ME3 would be out around same time frame or less as ME-ME2 was. That is NOT enough time to take the last game into the MP world. More than likely this is the gateway for after the trilogy and the likely case. Once the main story is done the trilogy complete they could open up a fourth game into a MP. Joining different factions, playing as different races and their various groups... makes the mass effect world really open up. This would be fine with me as long as they keep the trilogy out of MP and as it is. However from them saying this Im positive game 4 will be MP, maybe even MMORPG

BUT PLZ KEEP ME3 away from MP :pinched:

Tis a sad day, and my hopes for ME3 are all but gone now...MP will ruin whats left of this series.
