I still liked that idea about playing as Liara the infomation broker, having a micro manage element like simcity? sounds epic to me.

Agree with that, Shav. Liara shouldn't ever be playable in the main trilogy, though. I'd much prefer her to have her own spinoff game, if she were ever a playable character. Liara is a good enough character to be a lead protagonist!

Well chances are they screw her even more up in a spinoff by making her "anger management issues" Liara from the comic again
Though in general at that point I think we can be consider ourselves lucky if they even mention she is an archeaologist in ME3 and not act as she always was a "dark and edgy kewl badazz" information broker since she was born

That's why I specified a "well-made spinoff". 
Plus, Liara does mention her time as an archaeologist in ME2. Quite fondly, I might add. At least that was my impression.

Rather than Liara being a temporary squaddie, perhaps it could alternate between playing as her and playing as Shepard as the pair of them attack the Shadow Broker's base? Interesting.

Going to disagree with you on that one. In fact, the whole story arc with the SB provides more than enough for her own game. It's a good idea for a parallel game at a later date, esp. if we don't get any dlc featuring her.

Heh, what I had in mind when I was thinking of a game starring Liara is one that's set prior to the events of ME1, an action/adventure title exploring old Prothean ruins and digsites with a heavy focus on exploration and puzzle solving. Liara would use her biotics in combat situations, of course.
Could you imagine playing as Liara, with her wearing her labcoat and using her biotics? That would be awesome!

I love the idea of having a game like this made! Would be a neat way of exploring the events leading up to the trilogy from Liara's perspective.

Which reminds me has anyone heard anything new of the next ME comic series lately,they were planing a bigger one,I just hope they didnt decide to shove the whole SB arc into them and slaughter her character even more

Yeah, obviously the money of the Liara fans is good enough to take via the comic series, but as I said before, I suspect they want to sweep her under the rug as far as the romance is concerned. Would like to be wrong of course.
