Maybe Shepard would like to visit the Alamo? Don't know how interested Liara would be, but I think (my) Shepard might.
I think Central America would interest Liara as well , perhaps mayan culture

The (Western) Roman Empire's collapse wasn't quite as dramatic as people often make it sound. It was a long and gradual process of about a century and a half and while the sack of Rome itself (although no longer the capital) was a big deal to be sure, most people went on with life as usual.
Plus, the Eastern Roman Empire continued to exist for another thousand years.
Yeah, you're right. But I just thought that the whole angle of the Western Roman Empire crumbling and being sacked and invaded would be something Liara would be interested in educating herself over. given the genocide of the Protheans at the hands of the Reapers. When I said about the records kept of the Roman writers at the time describing it as being like the world was coming to an end, I had the distress beacon on Ilos in mind. The whole "Cannot be stopped...cannot be stopped...." message. Liara would be interested in how the fall of Earth's ancient civilisations parralells with the fall of the Protheans.
Yeah, I agree that Liara is interested in the Protheans and history in general. Put the Prothean extinction was her specific field and area of expertise in terms of her job. She still maintains an interest in them in general. That's why I like to imagine Liara occasionally checks the extranet for any new Prothean discoveries whilst on Illium. She misses her old life!
Oh, laying down with Liara on a grassy hill? Yes please! What about walking through a snowy, picturesque scene together, wrapped up in warm clothes and huddled together?

Anyway, my point is that if they're going to have Shepard visit one homeworld, is it not likely that we'll visit more of the other species' homeworlds too? Thessia, Palaven, Kahje etc. I hope so!

I actually happen to think there's a good chance we'll get to visit Thessia in ME3. I remember the devs being asked in an interview shortly after ME1's release about eventually visiting Earth, and they said that they're saving it for something special as they figured returning to Earth would be a pretty big event and would mean something special. As it didn't happen in ME2, that means it's now going to occur in ME3. That also means we'll be able to show Liara around and have her in tow as she'll be a squaddie again, which I love the idea of! Shwoing her the homeworld of Shepard's species, and introducing it to her! I got a similar sort of feeling in ME1, when Liara was with me on the Moon.

I think we will perhaps be given more freedom to explore in me3,saying that i had high hopes to visit earth in me2 , and was rather shocked in me1 when i coudln't but i am glad you could go to the moon it was a very interesting part of the game for me .
But yeah i hope so much that you can go to Thessa & Earth , With Liara

But back on topic visiting the Homeworlds would be interesting though if they dont shape up from what we got in ME2 it might be disapointing and feel disjointed again as for Earth it would sure be nice to visit it with Liara but I have a feeling the reaper fleet might set a course for it,I could imagine they might place the final battle in the Sol system
