Naturally!  She'll show Shepard the real Thessia; not all the boring places the tourists go.

Ever notice how Liara doesn't mind when you sit down the "admire" the asari dancer in Chora's Den? I guess an in-universe explanation could be the whole thing that the asari are comfortable with their sexuality, and don't mind mild displays of the physical aspect of it as the true pinnacle and apex of their sexualities and unions with their partners is on a far more higher plane, in terms of the asari union and the joining minds aspect of it. It just wouldn't bother Liara that Shepard is looking at another asari dancer, because she'd see it as not really meaning anything.



She does get pretty jealous when Shepard speaks to Sha'ira, though!

I have a different theory: Oversight by the developers. Ashley doesn't seem to mind it either after all.

That's just what I was about to say, bjd! I was going to say that then again, Liara does place value on physical contact and intimacy in her romance with Shepard. Like we always say, Liara is atypical of other asari.

Or maybe BioWare didn't think of having your LI get pissed at you for leering over some dancer! XD

People who say she agreed to that kind of thing, didn't understand what was meant. All she said was that she wouldn't blame Shepard for not being able to choose anyone yet (Asari have a different understanding of time after all), while the other LI obviously demanded a clear decision already.

I've never heard the dialogue, but it's been thrown around a lot. I always imagine it went like "As I said, I don't know much about human relationships... But if that's the only way..."

Then Kaidan/Ash goes "Woe, woe, woe! No thanks! IN YOUR DREAMS! Not interested... See yeah later, Commander."

She doesn't even say anything in the frigging scene. Plus, any thought of sex is a projection on part of the player. It's never brought up at all in the actual confrontation scene. It's more to do with sharing her feelings with Shepard on an intimate level with another, probably not even together. That is of course, if Liara is comfortable with it at all, as she doesn't even say anything in the scene.

Bottom line is, any sexual aspect to it is a projection on part of the player. It's never even mentioned in the confrontation scene, only romantic and intimate feelings. Judging from that, it's more to do with Liara possibly sharing Shepard with Ashley or Kaidan on an emotional level, rather than any kind of sexual or physical level. I doubt that she would meld with Shepard at all though if that did happen. From the romance conversations with her, she has to be absolutely certain of their love, trust and intimacy with each other before she even considers the meld, and content and comfortable with each other before she does so. Would that be the case if Liara was sharing her love for Shepard with another? Highly, highly unlikely.

 I also like the part when you get the scene with Liara and Ashley on the ship and have to choose one of them. Liara really cuts into Ashley, and then is so happy when you pick her over Ash. :wub:
