Back to Liara....
If we get some Liara/SB DLC, how do you all think that is going to start out? Will Liara contact you via email and you meet her somewhere? Will someone else tip you off about the SB's location and then you have the choice to tell Liara about it, or not?

Email, probably. That's how almost everything in the game is presented.jlb524 wrote...

I guess the problem with this is Shepard may not be connected to Cerberus after end game (though, I don't think this is made clear). Thus, Liara will probably send Shep an email, just like every other DLC.

I don't think it will be a touching letter, but it will be business-like and right to the point. You know, how she knows where the SB is and how she would like Shepard's assistance in the matter. Stuff like that.
Well it could be business and personal at the one time , i can't imagine Liara not putting somthing personal on the letter even if its a really small detail.
But i can only imagine once the SB is delt with there will be another issue that arises that she cant be with you.But then there is another situation where she teams up with you and tells you in full how she feels & agrees to stop the reapers with you , hence having a happy ending

As the DLC progresses, Liara will gradually open up and reveal just how much she's suffered, how she fears Shepard will hate her, and how her guilt has been tormenting her for two years, causing an incredible amount of self-loathing.
We'll then finally be able to comfort Liara, with additional content if she's your LI. That's what I think!

Well i mean it is obvious that she "loves" Shepard but perhaps is just anxious of what might happhening between them too..
I find it touching....

That's pretty much how I hope it plays out too.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
Yep, if I adhere to my "status quo" theory then Liara will start her DLC still quite distant, aloof and business-like. She's still scared that Shepard will hate her.

I hope for something like an expanded and deeper version of Jack's loyalty mission. During the breaks inbetween the combat, there will be extensive, intimate and deep dialogue with Liara as she gradually begins the process of opening up, and Shepard helping her out of her shell. The climax of the mission would then be the dramatic confrontation with the Shadow Broker or whoever, with the ability to either talk Liara down or encourage her to kill. Paragon/Renegade choice.
I still want the SB to be the last living Prothean, this would make the decision harder for Liara.

Likewise with the distress call on Ilos. Although Liara can't understand it, it was be pretty moving for her to hear that last desperate, pleading words of the people she has studied for half of her life. Powerful.

Personally, Mass Effect was just overall better. The characters showed emotions more frequently, the story was great, and there was more to the game than fighting. I like Mass Effect II, however it just doesn't seem to have the same "approach" to it. The characters feel like they were tossed together with no real purpose, where as in Mass Effect both the characters and game made me feel apart of it. As if it was really happening. Mass Effect II didn't create this feeling for me. Good news is though E3 is not far off and a chance to hear about Liara DLC, anything small or large would be great. Hopefully Mass Effect III will bring life back to characters, more so Liara!kraidy1117 wrote...

Would argue with that because I felt the characters where much better nadt here personal missions just gave more depth to them, now if only ME2 would have had an aqmazing story then ME2 would have been one of Biowares best games ever. Oh well maybe ME3 will be able to top BG2 and KOTOR.
