Would argue with that because I felt the characters where much better nadt here personal missions just gave more depth to them, now if only ME2 would have had an aqmazing story then ME2 would have been one of Biowares best games ever. Oh well maybe ME3 will be able to top BG2 and KOTOR.

Yeah KOTOR was great, Maybe it can top them! We just have to wait and find out

Both Me and ME2 where close, but both have flaws that sadly stop them from doing it. KOTOR and BG2 :wizard:

I'll put a last one for today. Seeing Liara's beautiful face after the dust has settled on the final battle.

Here she is with Ash and Anderson.

I hope for something like an expanded and deeper version of Jack's loyalty mission. During the breaks inbetween the combat, there will be extensive, intimate and deep dialogue with Liara as she gradually begins the process of opening up, and Shepard helping her out of her shell. The climax of the mission would then be the dramatic confrontation with the Shadow Broker or whoever, with the ability to either talk Liara down or encourage her to kill. Paragon/Renegade choice.

I'm actually hoping that, instead of you talking her down just like "everyone else", she'll act based off you, and what you've turned her into. Example, if you're paragon and faithful, she'll listen to you. If you're not, despite being paragon, she'll pull the trigger. And if you're renegade, she'll pull the trigger before you could even talk her out of it.

I would like a real influence system. All the attempts so far weren't really convincing. I would like a game with a strong story, in which you have many decisions to make, and the companions would change through the course of the adventure, depending on what you do and how much they like or trust you. And of course they should offer their own opinions, trying to influence you as well. The writing would require effort, and Shepard certainly couldn't tow around a whole dozen of companions, but it could be done. Prior to ME 2, I would have said if anyone can do it, it's BioWare. Unfortunately, now it seems unlikely that they would even try something remotely like that. We can be glad if we get the Liara content at all, but if so, it will almost certainly again be a simple true/false decision whether Liara kills the SB or not.

I quite like this. Reiterates Liara's assertiveness, and also ties into your morality meter.

I think that Paragons should still be able to talk Liara out of it though, regardless of romance. The decision shouldn't be romance dependant, IMO.

As I was thinking of many ways they could reintroduce Liara back into the Squad for ME3 I thought of one which I know would not happen but I liked. My favorite one of course is her jumping in, rescuing Shepard during a battle as we all previously discussed. The other one that I thought of would be cool is  if as one night while Shepard was asleep Liara managed to return to the Normandy. Wanting to surprise Shepard with her return, she gets the crew to remain silent and she makes her way to Shepard's private captain's cabin. As she enters the room she would notice her picture Shepard keeps of her on his/her desk. Catching Shepard asleep of course as she walks over to the bed. Shepard waking up with Liara right there, back on the ship as part of the crew and LI. The moment would be so "warm" and would bring back memories, followed by a kiss and them embracing each other.

I like this idea as well. Brings back and idea I like of your actions influencing your team mates, yet no game has ever done this right in my opinion. Either they make it to where you can influence the character too much or not enough it seems. Still would be a worth while goal though. ^_^

While i would like a moral decision, I still hope I get to kill the shadow broker without Liara becoming the new Benezia after that (perhaps she will adopt her fashion sense? :o:lol::wub::sick:). Maybe the middle choice will be that? Pulling the trigger instead of Liara.

I actually hope that the most Paragon choice is that you convince Liara that killing the Shadow Broker won't make her happy again or magically solve her problems, and comfort and console her yourself. The SB still needs to answer for his crimes and be stopped, though, so I support capturing him and turning him over to the Citadel Council so that he can stand trial.

I'll doubt having him stand trial is a good idea, every goverment uses the shadow broker. I'll think it will just be better to shoot him.

Yes, but we're told the Shadow Broker deals in information that can topple governments. Anderson even calls him a "necessary evil of galactic politics". With him making a deal with the Collectors and allying himself with them, he's broken his own vow of neutrality. The Council are going to make to make him stand trial.

Plus, governments only use the Shadow Broker because it's a necessity, and because he's so elusive. If they were able to track him down and stop him, I'm sure that they would have done so. As it stands though, he's a resource and tool worth using and making the most of, as he continues to exist.

Maybe. Still considering the fact that the council don't believe the reapers excist then they won't have a problem with him making buisness with the collectors (unless of course we do convince them). Also I could imagine the turian councilor making some backroom deal with the SB.

That's why I'm thinking that the Liara DLC will almost certainly take place after the suicide mission, where the Council will hopefully be convinced of the Reapers' existence with that datapad of information acquired at the end of ME2. That way, I think the Council will definitely have the SB stand trial if he's handed over to them by Shepard and Liara.

That's what I hope happens, anyway. The SB needs to be dealt with, but my Paragon tendencies says that Shepard should help comfort Liara, and convince her that killing him is not the right thing to do.
