I think the humans could defeat every race except maybe the turians, simply because military service is compulsory (I think) for the turians, and the turians have nearly 40 dreadnaughts as opposed to the 8 humans have.

And shatner, they're female to an outside race, but to the asari, there is no male/female, there is only asari. Also, asari can be fathers, only for other asari, though.

Maybe they turn purple, like Shiala?

I tried it mainly out of curiousity, still I found it somewhat I dont you could say lacking things, since it would have been a good setup for a breakup for example, also the amount of emotion on both sides and of course the pretty much instant reversal to buisiness mode after it happened was somewhat disturbing

Well when were going to count big ships Asari and Salarians have more then humans too, also they have the larger  manpower and ressources
When it comes to the "lesser" races of the galaxy I guess humanity would be up to the challenge though in case of unified Krogans it might be a close call

Remember that all the races suffered big big losses at the citadel, so humans could win post ME1, pre ME1 though, I think they could beat the Salarians and Asari, not the Turians though.

It is disturbing. They went from "IT WAS YOU! YOU DID THIS TO ME!" and "I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY! BUT YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD!" to "So... is there something you need? No? Ok then. See you later."

It really felt like content was cut, because when I hit that response, it seemed like **** just got real between them, but then they just go back to business as if nothing happened. It was utterly disturbering, and disappointing.

The humans have so much potential because only a small fraction of their population is in the Alliance military, and if they up that they could be a real force to be reckoned with, coupled with their "indominable determination" and their curiosity, which to executor pallin means they stick their nose in other people's business.

Did anyone notice how the description of humans by other races makes them sound more american than anything? Not to say that the rest of the world doesn't have indominable determination, it's just that that's a big staple of the american ideal. Also, the whole "sticking your fingers in someone else's pie" thing is somewhat of a hint. Also, most of the humans you meet sound american (of course that could just be so they wouldn't need to hire foreign voice actors, but they could've had the voice actors they used to spice up the accents a little). It's just something my brother and I noticed after he finished ME!.

If all male humans mysteriously vanished tomorrow would women no longer be female?

Well, ME2 is going with a more post 9/11 feel. With humans seemling coming in to take over another cultures location, and force changes onto them (more specifically with the human council version), and the mess it's making. It's by no means rubbing it in your face, but it's definitely a detail they put in.

Well its basicly the "humans are special" thing since humanity always must stand on a pedestal above all others, its seems to be quite common in scifi scenarios

But it's the Asari who get the attention of those who cry "Mary-Sue!"

Just listened to what Shepard's says if you hit the "So am I" instead of "I'm not" response. It's really scary seeing Shepard blame her for everything, and her trying to apologies. It reminded me of the old abusive husband and the desperate house wife kind of relationship. I guess it'll be like that for renegades.

Yeah. Shepard can be angry and cruel to her, or can be neutral ("mission is important"), but the most obvious choice, the supporting and caring one, is just missing. How could they not see this problem? It could of course be that they overlooked it, and just like the Conrad Verner bug they'd just ignore it now and never fix it. I find that hard to believe though. It has to be deliberate then. But why?

No, they would still be female because there still were males, and females needed males to reproduce. It's not like the asari, where there has never been a different asari gender.

Look, I know what you're saying, it's just that gender's never been, well, anything with the asari race. There is one gender, hence why I said monogendered, but that's exactly what it is. Just a gender. Not male, not female. They're just considered female because they look like human females, a totally different species. To the rest of the galaxy, they are female, but to asari, there is only one gender: asari. I'm not discounting genders in general, just that you can't label with a classification like "female."

With Conrad, the original Paragon version was you never met him, and he sent you an email. Only Renegades got to meet him. But I guess they thought it's be better if you got him regardless, so they allowed Paragon's to get him anyways. I think they didn't bother to re-write it was because he was trying to over-sell Shepard, since Shepard did raise his/her gun for a picture.

As for the lack of content, most likely it's because Liara's story kept changing, and kept being re-written last minute. They probably couldn't decide if the Shadow Broker mission was going to be DLC, or actually in the game, or something for ME3. Either that, or Ali Hillis was too busy with Final Fantasy 13. Or they suck. Who knows.

One thing I didn't like was sitting down, asking her how she is, being told she's gonna kill the shadow broker, and then the game makes me get up and leave her office. Lame.

Well there's kind of a difference between males vanishing and males never having existed in your species to begin with.

SHEPARD: So, are you working for the Shadow Broker now?

LIARA: No. But I am going to killing him.

SHEPARD: Well, good luck with that Liara.

The kiss was tame too...considering they had been apart for two years.
