Well its nothing confirmed by the devs its just speculation mostly based on files labeled Liara_dlc in from the pc version they are empty placeholders though
That's very interesting...Hopefully they announce it after overlord is released.

I've head a lot of talk here about Liara DLC. I'm just wondering if this is something you guys have speculated, or something that the devs have confirmed?
Well, speculation wise, we think it'll be an expansion that involves Liara and Shepard running around Illium, and traveling around the galaxy in a ship that isn't the Normandy, till they find and kill the Shadow Broker. We also speculate that she'll be a temp squad character during the mission, and only during the mission.

It can be much worse than ME2 Liara was, in The Witcher Geralt´s true love of 7 books isn´t even named, his/her friends don´t ask if he even remembers her, and her best friend takes advantage of his amnesia to get him in bed.

Also speculation wise, it's be brought up that Patrick Weekes (main writer of Tali in ME2) might be writing Liara's DLC romance, since he talked about how he writes now a days, and how he'd write how someone would says they love Shepard.
Where was that, please?

If SB trades with anyone without bothering for their reasons then he is an idiot who must be dealt with (as Wrex said). Some explanation of why only Liara and Feron went after Shepard would be nice, with some luck if they make a regular series Miller will think something (he fixed quite a few things in Kotor).

Well the SB deals with everyone as long as the price is right, hes not outright evil, though you can say he is devoid of amy morals, though he wouldnt do anything that would come back at to haunt him later
As for an explaination for Liara well Redemption was supposed to give all the answers yet it offered nearly nothingas for the regular series which is planed I hope it has zero to do with the existing characters they slaugthered Liara enough already
As for The Witcher while I played the game I didnt read the books so can't really comment on that since I had no idea who these characters are, though I feel that was the main reason for Geralts amnesia on ME2 Liara well I said all I have to say about that some posts ago

Tali loves Shepard too. She can love Shepard. How did you connect Weekes to Liara's DLC like that?

It's somewhere buried in this thread. Someone copied his Daily Journal/Blog response, and posted it. When I tried to find the actual response on his Journal, I couldn't find it. So either it never happened, or it was taken down because people were catching on. Don't know which.
I'll try to find the page where it was brought up.

It´s just another and worse example of characters not doing something they should have, but it´s true you won´t get it without reading the books. The weird thing is the game was made for and BY fans, and it shows everywhere else.

Because there are hints already that there will be Liara DLC, and since Liara is a romance option it would make sense to write romance exclusive content. Beside Tali already had her moment in the spotlight so to speak.

A modified version of "Vigil". That would be so touching.

You know what would be excellent BGM for the beautiful Shepard/Liara romance epilogue scene?

Quite fitting, the actual Love Theme is rather depressing, it gets even used as mourn theme.

Vigil is nice. But it won't fit if the epilogue takes place while Liara is setting behind her desk on Illium!
But it could work to my difrent takes on the farewell scene I wrote a few days ago.

ME1's soundtrack was better than ME2's. In relating to Liara, I hope they compose an all new song for her in 3. I love how she got her own track in ME1. <3

To be honest. I thought soundtrack was one the few places where ME2 was supiorior.
Sure, some of the cutscene music was good in ME1 (from the wreckage, spectre introduction). But nothing holds a candle compared to say suicide mission, Tali's theme, Samara's theme (These songs are just as good as HL2's soundtrack!)

ME1's tracks were pretty iconic, though I did like some of the revamps from the ME2 soundtrack, like the Normandy Reborn. But I did like the club tracks in ME2 a LOT. Flux's music was good for a few minutes until oyu were like, "Oh my god, it's the same do-do-do do-do do-do over and over again" but the ME2 club tracks were actual songs on repeat.rynluna wrote...

All the romances deserve their own themes, I think. But you know, especially Liara.
