Yeah, the next bunch of "totally supercool" people from all over the galaxy. I'm fully prepared for that. But are the fans of the ME 2 companions?

Liara remained on Illium for a while, until one day she suddenly disappeared. If she had gone back to digging up old Prothean ruins, or if she was travelling with Shepard again, depends on which of the many different rumors one decides to believe.

Yes. But knowing Bioware. We will proberly get new squadmates who are far more compelling LI's than the ME2 LI's (which means they are FAAAAAR better than the ME1 LI's) and if you think otherwise. Then you are a nostalgia blinded fool!

They won't put any of the old characters on the cover...it will be some new ones acting as their 'poster boy and girl' for the next game.



If you think about it, Tali and Garrus didn't make the cover for ME2 and weren't featured heavily in marketing (Miranda and Thane were), even though they were (and still are) pretty popular.

Thats because they are the two "Tailored to be sexy" characters that are meant to bring in the "new shooter crowd" that ME 2 was designed to appeal too.

That's what I'm thinking. So far, the formula has been Sheploo + Lead human female + Lead malien. What are the chances that will change for ME3?

The one thing that gives me some degree of hope that Liara may feature on the ME3 cover is that she's guaranteed to be in the game, and that she may play a major plot and story role. Enough to warrant a position in marketing, I think.

I just hate the idea of a 3rd human female lead, next to Miranda and Ash, plus another male lead, next to Jacob and Kaidan.

I agree with you Les , i think femshep and the male version should be on the cover so it is representing both sexes
