I'm confused what is "SQUEEEE" supposed to mean?
It doesn't mean anything. It is just a sound one makes when they get overly excited about Liara.
I'm more of a Yaaaaaaaaay!!!! person myself.

Well, I'm glad you were satisfied with her role in ME2. Most of us weren't.Darth Cheesecake wrote...
Not so much hacked to pieces as given a new more (understandably) darker personality.

I'm curious did anyone else feel this way the first time they played ME2.Darth Cheesecake wrote...
To be honest I felt a little betrayed by Liara.
But after my 2nd play through I understood.
Yeah She's a little to obsessive but it's very understandable considering the circumstances.
I like Liara's butt!LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

You know a little betrayed that grew into an understanding sympathy.

I didn't feel betrayed by Liara, just disappointed with her big ME2 cameo.

None of the ME1 LI's did.
So they developed a reason for her to not join up.
Wrex had his Krogan rebuilding.
Ash/Kaidan had their Alliance stuff.

I'm not saying I was upset because she was just a cameo. I had known that before playing and had accepted it. I was just hoping there was a bit more to her cameo and it stretched out over the entire game, kind of like Anderson's role in ME1, or TIM in ME2.
All it consisted of were two hacking missions and her talking to you for a bit about the SB. Plus, you didn't get a chance to properly say goodbye before going on the big 'suicide mission', and I at least expected something like this to occur.

I'm not upset with Liara at all. I'm upset at Shepard for sitting there like a bump on a log throughout her entire cameo. If I had just been given the opportunity to re-affirm Shepard's feelings for Liara, my outlook on the entire game would've changed dramatically.

To be fair Shepard does seem like a robot in some areas.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

That's what it has now come down to, really. The vast majority of Liara fans are now more upset and exasperated at Shepard and not Liara.
I happen to think that Liara does eventually show enough love and intimacy eventually. Shepard on the other hand? pfffffft!

I did Illium before Aeia.
So what was the reason for my Shepard's lack of emotion?

Shepard had a sudden attack of HERP DE DERP.
Especially when Liara opens her heart about her suffering and torment.
