Yeah, I've just replied to the Miranda thread. Not to the Liara bashing, but to a couple of other points.
Reading what the guy said, it really isn't worth wasting my time or breath.

Mine either, but I have to hear him more often. I kind of snapped. I ship them, damn it! Im just trying to figure out what I want to write about. I'm thinking of doing an AU where they keep in confact for the two years. Gradually, the emails become love letters in all but name. Liara doesn't acknowlege or recognize her own feelings until she meets Shep again and feels nothing when she kisses him.

It's because Liara is a more subtle and nuanced character. Alot of her more interesting personality traits aren't glaringly obvious, hence some thinking she's "boring".
Kaidan gets similar hate too. In actuality, just like Liara, he's a well written, interesting and fantastic character.

They all have idle animations on the PC version (I've never noticed them on XBox).
Liara rubs her neck all sexy-like, Ashley puts her hand on her hips, Kaidan rubs his temples (headache, I guess), Tali hops up and down, and I'm not sure about Garrus and Wrex (I think Garrus adjusts the collar of his armor).

In ME2, Liara is taller only b/c she is wearing heels, or so we believe. She is definitely the same height as Shepard in ME1.
I thought she was taller as well and from certain angles, she does appear to be (like, when you talk to her in the med bay and she stands up next to you...Liara always looked a bit taller than Shepard).
