i sent it [the files] to the Alliance  as i hate Cerberus and TiM and as for possible option of ransom for Liara in DLC [someone moved that thesis earlier ] i'll find other way which hopefully won't involve [too much ] killing...

An interview released a week or so before ME2 launched. They mentioned they will be making story DLC to bridge ME2 to ME3 eventually.

There was the quote from Mac Walters saying that the comic would tie into dlc/expansion content for ME2.  I think that is probably our best hope for any sort of indication it is coming.

Best news since ME2 came out!!

I usually don't follow interviews and such, so I miss a lot of interesting stuff.

Cheers for the link, Corti.

As has been said before, the Liara DLC must have some kind of romantic content for those of us who romanced her as it just wouldn't be believable that it'd smoothly carry over into ME3.

The fact that there are rumours that there will be a downloadable Thane mission in which he is possibly cured gives me hope for romantic content in Liara's DLC. If they're throwing the Thane shippers a bone, why not us Liara fans? She needs it.

I think that is mostly just unfounded conjecture and a random twitter.  At the very least I'd be quite upset if they are wasting time developing more content for the ME2 LI's before we get expansions for the ME1 LI's.

Yeah, that would have a high probability of being it. What else would the comic book tie-in be about.
I don't know what you would make the Redemption tie-in expansion about if you completely left out the main character. Wouldn't be logical.
I would hope they would call it The Beautiful Blue Goddess Expansion, but that is just wishful thinking on my part, lol.

I am sure BioWare will add a large amount of romantic dialogue for all of us as it would be a very emotional time for Liara and Shepard.

Just the fact that Liara is the only person in the galaxy that Shepard doesn't show any emotions to, means that they will add it in the expansion.
It is pretty obvious when the only person (I am sure BioWare remembered that there is a very good chance people romanced her) who is out of Shepard's emotional capacities, has her own comic book series that hasn't been fully released yet.
There could have been a million different ways to play out the scene where we would have been content with it, but I guess it made sense to someone in marketing to cut all of Shepard's emotions out.
The pieces to the puzzle (or in this case the Liara Expansion puzzle) are always there, we just have to look carefully enough.

Yeah, the Liara scenes definitely feel like they are hacked to pieces, and there is only a fraction present of what there originally was and what there eventually will be. We just need Redemption to finish, and then BW are free to go spoiler heavy and have Liara and Shep really open up to each other. Can't wait, I really enjoy showing her love. Feel like such a dork standing in front of her in ME2, and she just carries on working on her computer, haha.

"I have never been more sure of anything in my life. Will you join with me Shephard?"

That is one sure fire way to be able to fit into a coffee cup....don't you just turn into a puddle of goo when you hear that?

aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh.....makes you melt.

I love her facial expression and voice when she asks that, so sweet!

I've said it before, but during the intimate sex scene when she looks deeply into Shepard's eyes just before she begins the meld. Heartwarming!

Far superior to "Shepard, you make me feel human" in my opinion. That line almost makes me lose the will to live.

Who says that, Indigo?

I love how, despite her inherent shyness, Liara grabs Shepard's head to passionately start kissing him/her. It's like she's going "Shepard is mine, now!"

Whenever I get to Liara on Therum (of course, it is the absolute first mission I do), just before I meet her, I always get extremely excited to see her. (Even though she is trapped, she is so darn cute).
Even though I have done the mission 15-20 times, I always have the same feeling.

Same as when I talk to her on the Normandy, I always get happy and excited when I get to converse with her.
When she says, "Let's talk about something else". I always ask her about the Asari so I can keep talking to her.

Especially during the romantic conversations. She is so beautiful when she speaks! (And when she doesn't, she is still beautiful).
Yes, I completely love it when she looks into Shepard's eyes before the meld. <3
I never cease to be happy when talking to her. <3 (Or looking at her for that matter).

My first playthrough of ME2 consisted of me trying to figure out how I could get to Illium immediately after the tutorial mission. Lol.

A very certain Kaidan Alenko. And Shepard's "I can make you feel a lot more than that" response isn't much better.

I love how, despite her inherent shyness, Liara grabs Shepard's head to passionately start kissing him/her. It's like she's going "Shepard is mine, now!"

Hmm, I always saw it as a "throwing caution and uncertainty to the wind" kind of thing.

i always thought of that part of scene from a bit Liara point: "i'll get him quick before he may change his mind!" *grabs Shep;s head & starts kissing*

Seen the first two before, Indigo, but the third is new to me. Very nice!

The artist for the second pic, Shadowcat, is a member here. Here's also done a very nice pic of what Liara may look like in ME3.

I agree with everything.  The lack of being able to talk to and interact with Liara really made ME2 no fun for me. :(

So I went back and played ME1 instead.  Just got to some good stuff today.

Liara is so cute when she is shy.

Nozy, thanks for posting those!!

Love Liara's bashfulness when Joker interrupts the kiss. Such a sweetheart. <3

Just finished my new femshep ME1 playthrough. wow, I love femsheps smile when she emerges from the rubble after beating the tar out of zombie cyborg Saren. Finally a new loyal Liara import for ME2.

As I've discussed before I sort of ruined my first ME2 play through because I never read issue 1 or got the dialogue wheel tree. I thought Liara had left me for a new "friend".....I was so pissed....Well, now to rectify that mistake.
