Hehe, it was probably just a freudian slip......but it's kinda telling, if even the Bioware staff instantly think "female" when they think "Commander Shepard"
It'll probably get changed as soon as it becomes more noticed....
....and they'll probably attack us with Sheploo to make up for it
Attack of the sheploo!
It was just a slip I guess. Perhaps a mixup between Liara and Shepard so they refered Shepard as female. They should have written it as gender neutral.

After all, maybe Liara's changed. Maybe she's not so possessive as she was in ME1, where we can see her snap at the Consort for getting suggestive with Shepard. She's definitely more mature. She probably trusts that Shepard can deal with the matter himself.
She does that? She never said anything whatsoever in Consort Chambers on my playthrough...

And don't say Shepard's cabin. That's obvious.

So, when Liara is a squadmate again in ME3, and making the assumption that they're not going to destroy the Normandy AGAIN and that we'll retain the same ship, what area of the Normandy do you think Liara will occupy in ME3? Assuming that some ME2 squadmates will be departing, of course.
And don't say Shepard's cabin. That's obvious.I'm excluding it for the purposes of gauging some of your opinions and thoughts on the matter. I like the idea of Liara's area being the research lab, where Mordin currently resides. She can hang out there, doing sciencey stuff and researching useful information.
Either the research lab or perhaps Kasumi's room once she have moved on.

The research lab is definately one option or maybe "Miranda's" office or somewhere else near the medical bay. I mean she was there in ME1 and I'd assume Chakwas and Liara became friends, so maybe she'd want to be there again.

Though in theory should could take up just about any location on the ship, besides the Armory, Engineering, etc.
Still....that spare desk beside Shepard's bed looks veeeery appropriate for her....

Imagine the dialogue and banter between Mordin and Liara if she were to hang out in the research lab with him? Ample opportunity for some really funny stuff, I think!

If you already started the romance she does. Ash does too, don´t know about Kaidan with a Femshep.
I see, I just never did it late enough to be considered romancing anyone, so she just pretended to be distracted by fascinating Protean architecture instead...

There is a spare, unused picture frame too....Liara could put a picture she has of both her and Shepard together that she's secretly been keeping.
I tried to put a picture in that frame *using TexMod* but it also changed the one in the 'used' frame that had Liara's pic in it! They both must use the same texture file.

Yes...hopefully they'd actually interact with each other....they need more crew interactions in ME3.

Yes, Kaidan is also snarky if you wait to visit the Consort until after you start the romance. All the ME1 LI's have issues with other people trying to be all touchy-feely with their Commander.
And I would love some more Liara-squad interation in the next game. Especially Mordin, cause they'd be hysterical.

I agree! Like everybody else, I at first found it incredibly shocking
and jarring when the door to Liara's office opened, and you heard her
threatening some deadbeat with the same line that Benezia used to
threaten Shepard on Noveria. That's obviously what was intended.
Now
when I watch it and hear Liara using that line, I think it's just
another example of Liara's social awkwardness. The fact that she has to
quote her mother in order to sound menacing and threatening is actually
pretty sweet, as she;s seemingly incapable of being intimidating
herself. Like I've said before, I liken it to two 8 year old boys
fighting in the playground, and one trying to scare the other by using a
line he heard in the Arnold Schwarzeneggar movie he was watching the
previous night. That's what Liara sounds like to me!

And yeah, I can see Liara using that spare frame for a pic of her and Shepard.....I'd love to design a post-ME3 version of Shepard's cabin with Liara's touch added...

Well, it could be anywhere. It depends on who is coming back from ME2. They also could re-do part of the interior of the Normandy, adding extra rooms that we just didn't get to see in ME2. As it stands with a full crew (in my game, at least, I had no one die), there would be no room that Liara could claim as her own.
She doesn't do the same kind of research as Mordin does, so I don't think she'd need the lab much. If she's going to be doing her info brokering on the ship, she would probably need an office.

And yes to more interaction between Liara and other squadmates. Party interaction is one of my favorite things about Bioware games and the series has really lacked it so far.
