And I agree with Kraidy, the whole team should come back!

But Ecael had some good points as to hwhy most of them can't.

Luckily, Liara is the most likely to come back, since she is the only one that can't die, so, yay!

The characters that should come back or at least be on the ship is

Miri
Tali
Legion
Garrus
Mordin
Legion
Grunt
Liara

The other characters I don't know. UI would love Thane to come back but I think he would rather spend time with his son, Jack well I can't even talk to her anymore because she tells me to f*ck off. Samara has already said she must go back to her duties but if I do need her I can get her anytime, thus  I think she will be a cameo. Ash/Kaidan are open game, too many varibles.

Thats why I said there is alot of varibles. Theres cerberus, there "cheating" theres other crap. The two characters from ME2 that are most likely going to come back are Miri and Legion because they have strong ties to two major side stories. I want Thane to come back but I think I would rather him stay and take care of his son, now if he wants to help me, then I won't mind but I don't want to force him.

Depends on how the story would go. I think Liara would be the only one that you could say with the most certainty out of all of them. What would be holding back the ME 2 characters still applies to Wrex and the Alliance Marines.

The characters I would like to see in ME 3 are Liara, Ashley, Miranda, Mordin and Wrex. If it were up to me, that would be it, though of course there will have to be an equal number of male LIs. Add Tali and Garrus as well for all I care, and that would definitely be enough companions. If they add much more, it's almost sure they'll be shallow again.



It's all wishful thinking though, I'm quite sure the majority of the ME 3 crew will be new characters once again. Maybe, just maybe, it's our turn to get some fan service, but I doubt it.

But you have 2 dlc characters along with your whole me2 crew, and if all your old squadmates from me1 are recruitable in me3 then you will have a massive team =o .

Hopefully Liara and Tali will come back. They had by far the best party dynamic! Next is Liara and Ashley, but she's dead in my playthrough soooo.
