To stay slightly on topic:

Anyone else think it's lame that due to the fact that there is no romantic dialog, Liara will refer to Shepard as a friend. I think that one the worst thing about the cameo.

I don't think a Redemption novel would have worked, for the reasons already stated. A Liara prequel novel, however...



Thanks for the continuing confidence, jib and LET. I appreciate it. Some of the letters will be written out, some referenced. I'm also taking advantage of the fact that Liara, Niket, and Oriana are all on Illium. You'll see a good bit of Liara's information brokering as well.

I like the idea of delving into Liara conducting her information brokering too. We only see a tiny amount of it in ME2, and we're told that she's a very capable information broker. I'm also interested in seeing how you're going to tie Liara, Niket and Oriana together too. Can't wait to see it finished, jtav!

That's what I'm saying. I mean, I get the irk that there's no romance-specific content, but complaining she refers to you as a friend?

Someone suggested Wide Awake by Lacuna Coil to me.

Now, if you were to ask about Shepard/Liara songs, I have a long list.

The only bone they seem willing to throw Liara fans is a kiss instead of a hug.

Also the "because I couldn't let you go" line seems more appropriate if she was romanced.
But that's just my observation don't go spreading it around.
