It wasn't just her biotics too.
Overload was also incredibly useful. She was by far the most complete squadmate. She is awesome!!

Inferno rounds to the face did wonders for robo-Saren's personality.
Made him glow if you will.
I personally used snowblind rounds myself. Mainly because Saren need to chill off.

Sound fair?

I think Liara is more powerful than Jack, though. Asari are naturally gifted biotics, humans have to be exposed to eezo in utero. Liara is therefore naturally talented, plus she is incredibly precociously powerful for an asari her age.
Yes. Liara is in second place in most potentially strongest biotic. That if, you follow my list of course.

You know what annoys me? Some people take BioWare's abject laziness with Liara romance carryover as ammunition to say that she doesn't care about the romance anymore.
That's not the case, dammit!! It's due to BioWare's laziness!!
Liara haters.
It doesn't make any sense.

Liara is awesome so she's only scary when she's being a total bad ass.

I know I posted this list countless times before, but I feel like I have to post it again.
Remember this list is based on a paradox-universe where everyone is at the peak of their biotic strenght.
Morinth>Liara>Samara>Jack>Adept shep>Vanguard/sentinel shep /Wrex>Thane/Kaidan/Miri>Jacob.
Remember all the asari would be matriachs.
"EDIT" Remind me if I forgot someone.

Sorry i haven't been posting as much , had a busy day !
@ Les ,
I'd Love to match Samara's & Morinth's Biotic capabilities to Liara's , But Liara proving to be a very powerful Biotic in me1 I can't see her being over powered , but you must remember that Samara is a justicar and a much older Asari. So it's something to keep in mind.

Yeah, Samara is a more powerful biotic than Liara is during the events of ME2, but I think that Liara is more powerful than Samara was when she was 108, and Liara will also be more powerful than Samara when she reaches her age.

For example one of my favorite authors uses the word Sardonic at least once per chapter.

Does Liara's complexion change from ME1 to ME2 or is it just different lighting?
It's mostly the awful lighting. Her freckles and skin colour are largely the same, but the poor lighting makes it appear much different.
Her pupils are dilated and have been made smaller, though.

She looks a much lighter shad of blue in ME2 than ME1.

You certainly have gained some new fans. I've done, if not a 180, a hard right turn on Liara over the last few months *hopes no one finds old posts*
Actually, I'm really interested in reading your original opinions of Liara, jtav! Repost them here, or if you don't feel comfortable doing so send me them in a PM.
I'm glad that you've grown to love her, though!
Mind if I just sum up? They're scattered all over the place.
My rather hazy memories of her were as a damsel in distress who came on to Shepard way too fast. I perceived her as fragile and far too sweet. Mary Sue for big strong Shepard to protect. I didn't hate her, but I didn't think much of her, though I did appreciate her passion for archeology.. ME2 comes around and I meet Liara again. Really excited by the fact that Liara is doing something on her own and that the Shadow Broker business is obviously being set up for something big. I also fell in love with ME2 in general because of the cast and improved world-building. I was really confused by Liara fans anger because it was so obvious to me that Liara would have a big role in ME3. A small minority of Liara fans were also very adamant that no ME2 LIs should return in ME3 because Liara was absent in ME2 and that ME2 fans aren't real RPG fans. You can imagine how well that went over.
And then I had an epiphany. ME Liara was rebelling by becoming an archeologist but was doing so in a very constructive way and while still remaining a good person. Interesting, not boring. I make my first tenetive posts here and people are nice to me. I continue thinking about and deepening Liara's character in my head. I start getting fanfic ideas featuring Liara, first as a supporting player and then as a lead. I also become increasingly hostile towards Shep's Mary/Marty Sue tendencies, and the idea of Miranda and Liara running off to fight Reapers after deciding Shep is in idiot pops into my head. I play around wit the idea and decide to redo the romance. You know the rest.
