Liara: Please... tell me... What's on your mind?

Shepard: That dress is horrible.

Liara::blink::blink::blink::blink:  What???

Shepard: That dress. It's horrible. Where'd you get it?

Liara: Umm, I got it at Sidney's at the Citadel... it was quite expensive...

Shepard: You got ripped off... Seems very bland... Though it's the same color as your old lab coat.

Liara: It is! That's why I got it... I guess it is kind of bland... Wait... Why are we talking about this?

Shepard: Because I want to get to know you.

Green is obviously Liara's favourite colour, so green is what she will have.

I defer to Liara's decisions or choices because I can't say no to her.

Well, I prefer to be 100% honest all the time. Thus, say things people don't like. Thus I say it with a cheesy joke, which is my style with Liara (I know you love em, Liara. Don't deny it. I saw you giggle when I said "Ready for round 2?" )

Liara: (puzzled) What?

Shepard: Come on... let's go...

Liara: I can't.... 

Shepard: What?

Liara: I said I can't -

Shepard: We're not going to the Normandy... We're just going for a walk...

Pause.

Liara: But I need to work -

Shepard: I don't see a bed in here... and everyone needs to eat and rest...

Liara: (pauses) I don't know...

Shepard: Please?

Liara thinks for a long moment... then locks and saves her computer, and takes Shepard's hand.

They stayed together, hand in hand, till the end of the day.

Hey jtav, did you ever think of maybe having Liara ask Miranda to help her with job against the Shadow Broker behind Shepard's back? You know, to show that she trusts her more then Shepard right now? Just an idea.

Haa haa!  We are all super critical of our own stuff...it's good, I think. 

I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so that's my problem.  One can never be perfect, though, so perfectionists will never be satisfied with their work.
