There was 1 or 2 interviews right after they announced Awakening, saying that LIs would not be in it but there would be a cameo. The only cameo was Anora/Alistair.

Yep, that was pretty much what was confirmed in the Awakening forum though from the developers.

EDIT: The reasons were that the VA for Zevran was unavailable and the VA for Leliana would have been too costly iirc

And Shale doesn't seem to exist outside of the Stone Prisoner which is disapointing. Nothing in Awakening that references her and nothing in Darkspawn Chronicles.

Actually there was quite a lot said about how Awakening was made with very little resources put into it because they did not expect it to have a high ceiling.

Same and that's no excuse, if they could't get the VAs, then they should have kept the letters win or at least maybe show the Warden kissing there LI before leaving for the keep, anything like that would have been good. They took a cheap path.

Oh I killed him too in alot of my playthroughs, but I fonud him a well-done character and showed me that Bioware can do a tragic hero very well, I support Gayder working on ME3 :wizard:

Well, there is that... but great writting seems to come in short bursts with BW... the 1.5 years has seen soem really poor writing/editing, in my opinion.

I agree, the ME2 story would have been goodd if Bioware put there heart into the plot and not focus on shootey shootey and explosions. DAO, I did't care for the Darkspawn, but I loved the civil war story, but in ME3 Bioware needs to put there heart into the plot, ME2 story was amazing and had alot of pontianal, butthe craptastic plot held it back and made it worse. Walters, go back to characters, stay away from the fricken plot this time.

Still would have been good tho, I think what Bioware should have done is hsow a cutscene of the Warden kissing Leli, Zev or Alistair before going to the keep, then you get the latter later, but noooooooooo.
