Agreed, and I think that will be the case. She's only working as an information broker out of necessity, and not because she enjoys it. Once the SB is dealt with, I believe she's leaving it all behind.

I did actually speculate before that, in ME3, they could have her retain her position as head of her network in name only. Whilst she's off helping Shepard save the galaxy on the Normandy, she could leave behind a team of trusted associates to manage the day to day work of her information network, and have it managed by committee. She may view her network as something potentially too valueable and useful to dismantle for use in the upcoming battles.

Who knows, something Liara discovers using her information network could be a huge story point.

Just read over the past 3 pages i am really glad you liked the screenshots , there will be lots more of Liara comming ^_^ , as i just started a playthrough with her , and i don't think i'd romance Liara with Liara >.< heh

As long as it doesn't prevent her from being a squaddie again in ME3!!! :P

Also, I want her to be happy if she ever assumes a position like that. Not like how she's suffering in ME2, I'd want her to be enjoying herself as a more Paragon information broker.

I'd rather see her return to her happy days as a Prothean expert, only it would shift to the Reaper cycle. She could be a professor at a University, or something to that effect. Personally, that would be my ideal epilogue for her and my Shepard. But, like I said yesterday, that is what fanfic is for.



I wish they would make an expansion based on Liara and the SB, that spans between ME2 and 3, or is parrallel to both of them. Rather than releasing this stupid demo.>_>

I like the idea of her becoming a good information broker.  It's not an inherently criminal or corrupt field.  Information brokering can be used to help people locate long lost relatives, for example.

I want Liara to go back to being a scientist. I want my Shepard to retire from the Alliance, and travel around the galaxy, accompanying the love of her life on archeological digs. This SB nonsense has to end.

You bring up a good point....with her contacts, don't you think Liara could possibly figure out who the heck her 'father' is?  I imagine she'd be curious enough to try.

I absolutely adore the idea of Liara using her power for good, and for people's benefit. That's definitely something she'd do.

That's sounds great too...I need like 5 different romance epiloques to cover all the different possibilities.

I do wish for my Shepard to retire from the Alliance post-Reaper business.

Maybe. I got the impression that she'd come to terms with and accepted the fact that she never knew her father, though. Would she be willing to potentially open up a few old wounds by finding it out? She might do, as it would at least provide closure.

That's precisely what I want for her. Besides, otherwise, some else will just spring up to replace the SB. I'm hoping the Paragon path of ME3 will involve "building a better galaxy" where the corrupt or otherwise problematic organizations we've seen are reformed or replaced. The Council becomes a Galactic Parliment where all species have equal say. Miranda deposes TIM and turns Cerberus into a kind of human STG. Liara uses the B's network for good.

Problem with a galactic parliment is it would show each race trying to push things through for their own gain, at least the current council races have proven themselves, and the Asari try to make things equal to all citadel races.
