LET, it's ok to call them friends. You're girlfriend has friends. It's an ok thing.
Do one, will you? I was the one who was protecting Liara from overly protective and jealous people the day Redemption was released.

Like the other romances, Liara isn't going to cheat on Shepard.

The only problem I see with this, J, is that it would've been detailed and displayed as the comic progressed. As it stands, though, it still shows her mistrusting him and doubting his actions right up until he goes to confront Tazzik, literally just before she leaves him behind. As she still hates him immdiately prior to that, and no friendship chemistry develops between them throughout the series run, I'm inclined to believe that survivor's guilt was the trigger. You don't go from threatening to kill someone to then being their friend in just a few short minutes. Survivor's guilt and leaving him behind was the trigger for this.
In ME2, the term "friend" was only used for convenience, and it best fit without revealing Feron's name.

Liara was Farons girlfriend. She was a friend who is a girl, just like Jib is my girlfriend.

What are you all going to do if they don't announce an expansion or Shadow Broker dlc?

You mean for just this week? My hopes aren't up high (I think all we will get from ME2 is that demo), so no melt-down from me.
Now, if you mean no DLC ever, then I will be

IIIRC E3 conference starts in 10 minute by the way - that may or may not be where we learn about new Bioware stuff.

Liara is a very compassionate and empathetic person, though. I think she slowly came to appreciate Feron as a person over the course of the few weeks they worked together. I think this would happen with her if forced to be around someone day and night, even she initially has a low opinion of them. For example, we see that she expresses sympathy for Saren late in ME1, even though she initially thought of him as nothing but a 'turian bastard'.
I think it's more than just survivor's guilt (though that may be part of it).

You've said yourself many many times that the comic is a poorly scripted piece of crap. I think it applies here....they went overboard with the 'I don't trust' you thing with Liara and Feron, and tried to show the 'friendship chemistry' as you say in one panel (when Liara thanks Feron and places a comforting hand on his shoulder) and then in the end when she vows to look for him.
In ME2, Liara even refers to Feron as a 'friend'. She sees him as more than just a shady dude that helped her way back in the day. I don't think it even fits her character to see him this way.
The Microsoft Conference was really disappointing. I like the whole Kinect thing but there was too much focus on it in the conference. The conference was pretty boring as a result, there wasn't enough for more "hardcore" gamers. Hopefully the Nintendo conference will be different.kraidy1117 wrote...
