And despite what some may think, video gamers are getting older: it is estimated that the average gamer is around their lat 20's early thirties.
Anyway, sorry for the abrupt interruption. Where were we?

Anyway, Liara was better in ME1. Even if she is supposed to be jaded, and darker in ME2, they could have implemented the scene in a much better way, with more lines. Make the game more worthy than what it currently is.

Speaking of which, and Im not sure if this has been discussed here before, but how would we as gamers would have improved that scene (apart from Shepard's continual silence)?

A paragon interrupt.
A renegade interrupt.
An attack by flying Urz?
That's all I've got.

It's really disappointing. But I suppose that's the nature of the "news" sometimes. A lot of sensationalism and exaggeration - that's what draws audiences. Seems to me that people were playing the telephone game and things escalated from "sex scenes with mild nudity" to "full-frontal nude rape simulator." And then someone from Fox hears the rumors and thinks there is a gold mine.
Yes and that's what's to be expected especially if you happen to do something that tests the limits of the norm and BW with ME1 did that and did it well. However if they did indeed back away from their vision in ME2 and continue to do so in ME3 then everybody will know it was because they lacked conviction and probably loose interest in their games. Liara has a strong fanbase and a common theme accross the boards is story and how much better ME1 was with that. The stats they're seeing I'm sure suggest sticking to their vision is in their best interest so I expect Liara, Ashley, Kaiden and story fans will provide enough 'encouragment' for BW to follow through even if it means O'Rielly will holler and scream. At the end of the day game sales will win out. If BW is measuring the strength of the Liara character they're finding out she's much stronger than they thought.

Do you know anything about Bioware?
I mean look at the BG series.
Look at ME.
Don't say that Bioware lacks conviction.

Yes...I missed it the first time as well. When I travel through the 'Investigate' dialog tree, I tend to go from the top option to the bottom. Damn thing is bugged.

If I have to be serious. Then I assume by "evil" you mean renegade? Because then my answer will be the same as before today. Renegade Shepard will turn Liara into the equlievant of Benezia.
And on that note: Good night!
