only in that the models have slightly more polys in ME2, Liara looks mostly the same.

What you guys think of Liara and Shepard ending ME3 as councilors for their species? I would like that ending a lot and both have already proven their comptence more than the actual council.

I like that idea. I would like for my Shepard to be Councilor after Anderson. Liara might have to wait a bit, though.

I know that Liara is young to be a councilor but perhaps the savior of the galaxy title might help a litle and it would be a huge boost to the human/asari diplomatic relationship

I guess it depends on if you saved the Council or not. If you did, there is already an asari councilor (though she sucks). I wonder how easy it would be to replace her?

Shepard and Liara both on the council would cause a lot of "conflict of interest" issues, every other race would call foul play and conspiracy, especially if Shep and Liara are a couple.

I guess It would not be much dificult because after the Reapers the council would lost their credebility for desmising their exitence for two years and who beter to replace then than the ones that have defeated the reapers, about the conflict of interests the council is build in strategic and comercial aliances so I don't think it would be a big problem.

That's true...the previous Council has proven incompetent time and time again.
Liara for new Asari Councilor!
Hell, throw Garrus on as the new Turian Councilor.
