No bashing of other characters, particularly some of my favourites!
Besides you should make fun of her nose not her eyes!
Just kidding.

To be honest, Kaidan and Carth never struck me as being very similar. They have the same voice actor, and that's about it.

I don't think that Shepard really had a choice in the matter. He/She was dead for 2 years and trying to save the Galaxy from the Reaper/Collector threat for the rest.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
Likewise! A powerful and emotional reconciliation scene in which the pair open their hearts to each other. Liara revealing the full extent of her suffering all that she has endured, and Shepard apologising for not being there for her. I want it to be very powerful, and moving!

Whatever it is, I'm sure the epic romance reconciliation scene will have me weeping like a child, due to the fact that I'm all mushy like that and I love Liara so much.
It's Ok...we can weep together.

I agree. I was likethe first time I saw that scene. I hope for more of that in the future, actually! Liara needs to open up!
Me too! I want to be moved to tears by Liara opening up, I want to find it incredibly sad and emotional. It shows just how strong a character Liara is, and how she's endured all of this pain!

A lot of people never liked Carth because he wouldn't stop talking about Saul and how he betrayed him, killed his family, destroyed his homeworld, etc. They called him a whiner. Bioware made a pretty funny reference to this in ME1, when you talk to Kaidan and he says something like "I don't want you to think of me as a whiner" right after he got done talking about his past.

Yeah, even fem-shep tells him that he should talk more, and talking doesn't make him a whiner. And then Kaidan laughs, and says he's sorry Shepard had to be one to tell him that.

One of my all time favorite Aimo --and general Liara romance-- pieces.
