We need something to discuse what about this don't you think that Liara at end of Redemption is a litle to trusting in cerberus? After all I was expecting Liara to insist in staying with Shepard to make sure that cerberus don't try to do something like implanting a control chip.

Plain bad writing. It contradicts what is shown in ME2 regarding Liara handing Shepard's corpse over to Cerberus, and what a deeply traumatic and guilt inducing act it was for Liara. We're shown in ME2 that handing the corpse over to Cerberus has caused an incredible amount of self-loathing on Liara's part, and that her guilt has been festering and eating away at her for two long years. I like that Redemption also expanded on Liara being fearful that Cerberus will flub up the Lazarus Project, and bring Shepard back as some mindless, undead abomination, but they never expanded or even displayed Liara's guilt over handing the corpse over to a terrorist organisation because of her desire to see Shepard revived. Bad writing.

As for Liara not stating her full motives for hunting the Shadow Broker at the end of Redemption? Inexcusable.

I'm not saying that Liara is ok with handing Shepard body to Cerberus if theres anything that is clear in her role in ME2 is that she realy feals guilty about it and that only have done that bcause she loves Shepard. What I'm triyng to say is that I don't think that Liara would simple let Shepard body without any assurance that they would not transform Shepard in a husk serving cerberus. I would like at least see Liara fighting Miranda idea of her doing  other stuff and leave.

She does put up token resistance in the comic, and does express worry that Cerberus will flub up the Lazarus Project, but she also leaves Shepard's body with Cerberus because she's desperate to see her revived, and knows that Cerberus are the only group willing to do so. That's where her guilt comes from.

She leaves the corpse with Cerberus anyway b/c she's desperate to see Shepard revived, but this causes an incredible amount of self-loathing within her.

Liara don't trust in cerberus from the begining and like you said she only hand Shepard body to them because there is no other option so IMO would be more like Liara to stay and keep an eye on cerberus insted of going after the SB. But prolobably this is part of the excuse artificialy created to make Liara unavailable in ME2.

Maybe, but I see it as the start of Liara's resolve the put things right, to try to do the best she can to rectify the situation. She may think Cerberus are utterly abhorrent and their methods despicable, but I'm sure that she also trusts them to revive Shepard as best they can b/c they ultimately seek the same goal as Liara: to return Shepard to life in the best way possible.

After the conversation with her in ME2 I don't get the impretion that she trust cerberus " I Knew they would use you for their our reasons...". But abaut make things right perhaps she thinks that the SB is still a threat to Shepard after all nothing stops him from trying catch Shepard later (perhaps Wilson was a SB agent) so decides that SB is a greater threat to Shepard than cerberus, and this why she leaves.

Or maybe she's trying to do something constructive and productive. Her guilt and pain over what happened with Shepard would have been incredibly raw and powerful. Rather than mope around, and stay at Shepard's side like some dependant lapdog, she attempts to rectify things and make it right. What Liara said about knowing Cerberus would use Shepard for their own reasons explains her incredible guilt, b/c she handed Shep over to Cerberus as she was desperate to see her revived. It was playing on her mind and she was fully aware of the possibility that Cerberus were manipulating Shepard, and that's the reason as to why her guilt is so great and why she seeks to rectify things.

As much as I like Liara, but playing as her in ME 1 would feel out of place to me. Especially the romance? :?

I would very much like to be able to play as Liara in ME 2 though. It's like a different game to me anyway, so it would work well, I think. As far as I know though, it's not possible, but if anyone knows how to do it, please post it here.

I think J was going to attempt to play as Liara in ME2, bjd. I agree about Liara potentially romancing herself in ME1. That would be odd!

Some men (and maybe women) might find that rather enjoyable =/ Would be just a little bit strange though

When I say that Liara would stay with Shepard exactly to prevent any kind of arm that cerberus could do to Shepard (mind controling, or implanting him with reaper tecnology, manipulating him) it would be Sheperd depending on Liara to protect him.  I also wouldn't like if Liara have stayed behind just to be at Sheperd bedside for two years for no reason but she has a reason and the reason is that cerberus can't be trusted 100%. I would agree with the constructive part if the main reason for Liara being after the SB were because he is evil but that's only part of it the main part is because of what he tried to do to Shepard.
