We really should get an extra achievement for staying faithful over the entire trilogy, imo.

Unfortunately, you can't have an acheivement that requires you to own another game to get it. At least I think that's how it goes.

I am not afriad to admit, I cheated on Ash with miri and I plan to stay with Miri because I like her alot more. I wanna see some tense feelings though, especiall if you "cheated".
Not cheek slapping feelings(though that would be gold), but more like distant feelings, they'll work with you but don't really want to attempt to get close/r/ again.

I don't think that Liara would think that their relationship is over because of a 2 year abscence.

Yes but the developers give you a very clear out with both Kaidan and Ashley.
They basically say "Hey we're giving you the opportunity to cheat on your ME LI"
With Liara it's more "She's busy, Your busy. You'll hang after your respective stuff is over"
That's the feeling I got from the various scenes.

Email() proves it may or may not be, just have to wait and see. Either move on yourself or stay attached to Kaidan/Ash. Liara already knew you were going to be back.

My hope for mE3 is dead. The only way my hope will be high for ME3 is if they show a trailer with Miri and Liara in your party fighting with you. Then my hope for ME3 will come back. I don't count on it tho.

Given Liara's explanation in regards to relationships and how deeply they consider them before melding with a "mate"... I don't see her falling out of love with Shepard in just two years. Two years to an Asari is like two months to a human. As someone also said... she knew what Cerberus was going to attempt by bringing Shepard back and you don't go through all she did to get his body back just to simply forget what she had with him after giving his body to Cerberus.

Not something one says if they are not head over heels in love with said person. The entire Liara cameo was horrible from not only the writing but also lack of writing and dialogue. Personally... part of me thinks BW did it on person to make your character feel better about cheating... the other part says they failed miserably just as they did with KOTOR. Hell... at the end of Awakenings the epilogue states you return to the red haired bard Leliana who you love. If BW could have done something like that I would have been at least ok with it. As it stands now... I think the entire cameo thing sucks.

I've stated this before and the more time that passes the more I feel this way... without some sort of definitive closure either way in regards to Shep and Liara's romance... either by DLC or some trailer from ME3... I will not be pre-ordering ME3... and I won't buy it unless closure is built into the game regarding them. They need to put as much or more work into Liara as they did Kasumi and Overlord DLCs.

My two cents.

For one, I don't cheat and I think Shepard and Liara are still together. Even if what you say is true and she doesn't know where she stands, it's not decided yet and until then, I consider Shepard and Liara still together.

Not persuing another romance equals staying with her and most of the other romances didn't appeal to me. From a FemShep perspective - what kraidy said.
From a MaleShep or my perspective, Miranda is way too hollywood-like to me, Tali throwing herself at me the way she did was ridiculous, imo and you can hardly call what you can do with Morinth a romance. I'm hoping for some kind of cure (for Shepard to endure), though - that would be awesome ^^
I loved Jack's romance though, but like I said, I don't cheat, but that's where other Shepard's come in ^^

My main stays faithful to Liara and nothing that happened in ME2 could change that.
