I wasn't so much worried about Miranda as I was about TIM, yeah. He might have given her a "friendly" reminder that his influence reaches way beyond her own. For all we  know right now, he's the reason she was able to develop a bunch of contacts. But that's a hwole other argument.

No one said they should immediately join Shepard. But there's no reason for their hostile reaction. Not even if you consider the main reason for the whole scene, having a reason to keep Ash and Kaidan out of the crew. I guess their reasoning is understandable, but the scene definitely needed more dialogue. Just like Liara's.

It needed Shepard dialog. Ash, Kaidan and Liara dialog was fne, Shepard dialog was lacking.

Really this is what should have happen.

*Liara and Shepard kiss, but she breaks away and shakes her head*
Shepard: Whats wrong Liara?

Is that soo hard or when she finnly opens up to Shepard, he should have comforted her not say my mission is important or you suck!

I am not even a fricken writer and I can write a better cameo scene for Liara and Shepard, even Kaidan and Ash.

This is what most likely happen.

Walters: Ok main stry, done. Characters, done. Side stories, done.
Chud: What about Liara, Ash and Kaidan?
Walters: Ah crap.
*whips up the crappy cameo scenes*

This, or Liara doesn't really know if Cerberus will even be able to bring Shepard back.  She was probably reluctant to tell Ashley or Kaidan, as she wouldn't want to get their hopes up for nothing.

I don't know, she knows Shepard is alive and well, and I don't buy the 'my contacts told me" crap. I had a feeling she might have been bribed with status updates, Liara almost did getting Shepards body back....

It could also be implied that, since it would be uncertain as to how long it would take for Shep to be resurrected, Miranda probably thought that it would be best for Liara to have her mind focussed on an immediate set of tasks, rather then perpetually poised with baited breath as to the outcome of the Lazarus Project for two years.

I thought Miranda told her that the body was in worse condition than they expected and Shepard's chances didn't look good....perhaps not.

Why the hell did Walters do a fantastic job with Miri in a couple of pages, yet he could not do a good job with liara in four comics!!!!

Also, I asked Javier if he had any word on that facebook comment form yesterday, he said he was trying to talk to Jesse about it, but he was stonewalling him. So, stonewalling is better than an outright "no," I guess.

TIM could have contacted her and did gave faulty info to Shepard, that is something TIm would do.....
