Hey, if Liara took Feron's ship, maybe we'll be seeing that in some DLC.

Also, I asked Javier if he had any word on that facebook comment form yesterday, he said he was trying to talk to Jesse about it, but he was stonewalling him. So, stonewalling is better than an outright "no," I guess.

Crimms, it was Tazzik's ship that Liara steals IIRC.

I just don't think we can assume that Liara knew that Shepard was alive again. Perhaps she tried to contact them for progress updates and they ignored her?

I thought Miranda told her that the body was in worse condition than they expected and Shepard's chances didn't look good....perhaps not.

She does tell her that. She says she's not sure if it will work, but TIM is more optimistic. Liara still thinks it's better to let the dead rest.

It seems to me that she had generally accepted the fact that Shepard is dead by the end of #4, but there was a little inkling of hope. And then TIM starts leaking rumors that Shepard is alive, and now nobody is nearly as surprised as they should be to see a ghost. And they start to lose faith in Shepard.

Frustrating.

Stonewalling means 'yes' in my books!!!!!!!!

If it wasn't true, they'd just say 'no'.

She does, which adds another dynamic to Liara's guilt, grief, fear and torment. She's worried that Cerberus will flub up the Lazarus Project completely, and bring Shepard back as some undead zombie husk abomination. Imagine just how much that pain has been festering inside Liara. She's hurting. Badly.

Which is why I beleive that's why Liara shakes the kiss off and shakes her head. Part of her is happy to see Shepard again, but an other half does not know if this is the real man/woman she fell in love with.  The point that Miri shows more emotion then Shepard is sad....

Ah, ok. Well dammit, I still want to see that ship in some DLC. It seems perfect. Hop on board with her for a few missions, and then she and Shepard can go back to being

Let me know if there are any extra goodies....like a whole new issue that actually explains crap and doesn't write Liara OOC.

Well, sure, that's what we want, but that's not what we'll get. Maybe a little <3 on Tazzik's ship, but then it'll be like it never happened. >.<

The graphic novel will be sent to me, too.

I'll let anybody know if there's anything worthwhile.

I wonder if we might see Tazzik in future ME2 DLC.

I've always interpreted Liara's line about letting the dead rest as her putting up token resistance, and an example of her lying to herself that she's doing it for Shepard's sake, as she says so in ME2.

She wanted Shepard revived. Badly.

I'm sure she did. But she might have been trying to convince herself that it might not happen, so she didn't get her hopes up.

You know, the exact opposite of what we do in here. XD

It's possible he may be a boss battle in the DLC.

Time to pop up my fav little thing

Chud: We must make ME3 the best shoota fest ever!
Drew: How about we ****** off the fans more!!!!
Walters: I enjoyed destorying Liara
Chud: Nah I have a better plan, we will give everyone two minute cameos and we will introduce new characters!!!!
Drew: That could work.
Walters: Can I still destory Liara?

 It isn't. Everything I try ends up in the digital equivalent of a wastebasket. Can't come up with a plot I really want to work with.

I think she did only subconciously and it wasn't apparent to her at the time.  Consciously, she thought that just putting the body to rest was the best thing and was the option she herself wanted.  Of course, because of her subconscious desire for Shepard to return, she didn't put up much of a fight when Miranda informed her what they were actually planning to do with the body.

I then think, over time, Liara realized all of this about herself and her motivations, thus coming to the conclusion that she did what she did b/c she couldn't let Shepard go.

Now if only they could have made her that deep in the game, instead of having us come up with a deeper meaning to make up for the zombie reactions.
