well..... Aside from a confirmation that Liara will be a squadmate in ME3.

Or... Valve manage to get their head out of their ass and start making episode 3.

right! Now if only my braind would direct that
craziness at my dreams so I could have some awesome Mass Effect dreams with Liara in them.

Not the best quality, but the only HD one was taking forever to load.

Ok, I'm starting to think I'm crazy after listening to this. She doesn't roll her r's or anything.

But does she sound a bit different to anyone else on that part? I'm so used to hearing her talk the way she does on the Normandy, it always just jumped out at me a little.

Hmmm...I have a theory about the Reapers, maybe they're sort of a God figure (Since we don't know what they actually want), every 50,000 years when races are evolved enough, they come, to test them, if the Reapers win, well...The sentients don't deserve to live, and if the Reapers eventually lose, then the sentients that beat them are strong enough, and deserve to live...Don't know if that sounds silly or not, just thought I'd throw it out there

Could be. But I think the reapers view themselves as a force which purges and elevates organics into a greater being.

That scene is indeed awesome. I'll never see it for myself, though. I have to go recruit Liara ASAP. I even avoid all Citadel sidequests as I can't bear to not have Liara there!

Only time I avoided citadel quest it took me 10 reloads to deal with the krogan and only because he got stuck in a corner:unsure:. But I got the Liara´s achievement:).

No. Since reapers are made from organic smelted into a single being so to speak. I think they see organics as "unpure". Bit difficult for me to explain since english is not my native language. But I'll try my best.

Look at the society in the ME universe (hell look at ours now).

War.
Famine.
diseases.
corruption.

The reapers proberly look at us and believe we need to "purified" to free us from the horros and evils we do against each other. By turning a entire species into a single greater being.

I know it sounds crazy. But it's the best way I can put it.

"EDIT" I'll think the "We are your salvation through desctruction" also support this. But at the end of day, it's all up to interpetation.

My impression was that they need organics as a source of more Reapers...that's it.  Thus, organic life is a type of food source for them.
