What about when Ash and Kai learn that Liara had no other choice as she wanted Shepard revived? That she did it with an incredibly heavy heart? That Cerberus were the only group willing to invest the credits to bring Shepard back? That Liara isn't exactly proud of what she's done?
I do think they'd be somewhat understanding of Liara's plight.

I do think they'd be somewhat understanding of Liara's plight.
They would come to understand in time. But their intial reaction wouldn't exactly be happy or understanding. Even Garrus and Tali would have the same reaction, if it was just after the events of redemption. And all of them would hate and scorn her for what she did, even if it was the only choice.
But they would understand in time.

Right. That's something I agree with. They'd eventually be supportive and understand Liara in time, after they've allowed themselves and their emotions to calm down.

She is gonna have a cameo which purpose is to have the player face the fact that she no longer cares for Shepard!
Due to your optimisem, people had their hopes up for a good role for Liara.

But I truly belive that Liara will be an important squadmate and we will be able to continue the romance and we will have a happy ending for this romance.

If they somehow manage to screw up (again) Liara's role in sequel. I would still buy ME3, if only to see how the reaper plot ends. But I'll pretend the series just ended with ME1.
