I always wondered why the comics are called Redemption. I hope that Liara don't blame herself for Shepard death she doesn't have any fault but I get the impression that she blames herself from one of Liara's lines.

Most likely if she woiuld have got Joker, Shepard would not have died. Everyone on the Normandy blames there self for Shepards death someway.

I never cheated on Ash, she told me to f*ck off andm moved on, well so did I . The only romance that I consider cheating is if you romanced Liara and went with someone else in ME2.

She does, and she says so during Redemption. In a Liara LI canon, I think she blameds herself for stalling Shepard when she was refusing to leave when ordered to. Her reluctance to leave Shepard, due to her love, would cause Liara to think that she delayed Shepard from going to save Joker, and that resulted in Shepard getting killed. Liara would feel that the person she loves died due to that very same love. It would eat her up inside. Heartbreaking!

Even if Liara was not a lI, there is some off-screen stuff we don't see. Liara could have gone to get Joker but Shepard most likely told her no. I highly doub only Ash went to see Shepard when the ship was being attack. Liaras station is more closer to Shepards station then Ash is.
For me this is how it goes.

Liara coyuld have got Joker but did not, this caused Shepards death.
Ash was arguining with Shepard, Ash thinks that if she listened Shepard would not have died.
Joker, ah Joker, this is the one person who has alot of survior guilt. It was really his fault that Shepard died.

As I said Joker. It all goes back to Joker. Liara, Ash/Kaidan and Joker are responsible for Shepards death in some way, which is why these characters are hurting the most unlike say Tali who has no survuor guilt and wnated to jump my bone knowing full-well I was with liara or I was still hurting after the events with Ash. <_<

If she was not the LI: Then maybe she blames her self for not simply going after Joker? IDK.

That's what I think. I go by this. Both Liara and Shepards stations are close to each other. Before the attack, everyone was at there stations. Ash's station is at the armory which is near engerining. When the attack happen Liara and Shepard most likely argued. Then Ash comes up, now if you romanced Liara, then Ash does not come up and focus on getting the crew toi safety, but like a non-romance Liara, Ash could have gone to help Joker.

Then Shepard will have to confort Liara about handing the body to cerebus and show her that she don't have any kind of fault that Shepard have died.

I role play my Shepard in the exact oposit way my Shepard feels guilt because Liara goes to the escape pods beliving that he will be fine and then he dies leaving her alone.

I can picture Ash punching Joker right in the face at that part with liara bursting into tears.Tali probaly just snaped her fingers saying dam, I can't do a Quarian pounce on Shepard now

Come to think of it, Liara may have not seen Joker's pod escape from the Normandy. That's why she's so horrified in her own escape pod when the Normandy explodes. She thinks Shepard died on board the Normandy.

However, when she sees Joker's escape pod land, she would have very briefly gotten excited and believed Shepard was inside...only to then be absolutely crushed when she sees Shepard is not present. Sad!

I think what made liara such a great friend and lover was that she was the only one to go look for Shepard and comfirm his death while everyone else went back to there normal lives (tho I can understand Wrex's reasons)

One thing that always have bothered me is why the collectors didin't destroy the escape pods after all they have no way of knowing that Shepard was not inside one of them.
