Well Liara and Miri don't even say anything to each other either, so things like this I just ignore.

Because Liara probably was still gathering her courage to tell Shepard the complete story of his return if she talks to Miranda Shepard will ask from where they know eachother and Liara will have to tell him right way because she wouldn't want to lie to Shepard.

That's no excuse, Miri could have said something when Liara told Shepard the story. There is no excuse for that lack of dialog.

Jacob should have been the better person. Also the way he tells about EDI isn't really about informing her, but to annoy her.

Yeah he's an assasin. But Jacob is working for a terrorist orginasation, who done some really bad things.

In short: Jacob should just STFU and be replaced by Garrus in the de/briefing scenes.

At that moment they could say something but  they are not friends and they barely know eachother they only  have a very small interaction in Redemption and probably have not met again since. The only thing that Liara could say is tank Miaranda for bringing Shepard back. I think that is a much more serious oversight not be any interaction between Liara and the others ME1 squadmates that are with Shepard, the same thing with Wrex.
