PC does seem like a reliable way to go. I have a 360, m'self. And I lack appropriate funds to get fancy capture equipment.



I rely on others to provide suitable visual fixes.

Except, you have to buy a PC that can play the game

I do believe all my graphics settings are maxed out, but the textures are still kind of low.  I think they did improve a bit in ME2 in general....not much for Liara as she's wearing some boring dress.

But in this case the reaction was loathe. Don't you know that everyone hates Sheploo, that he's ugly and needs to keep his hands off Liara and that playing as him means you have no creativity or originalty?

It wasn't hate against Sheploo I was aiming at, it was hate at all Shepards in general during the Liara cameo. Remember I prefer and play with Sheploo myself. And as a result I mostly have Sheploo footage (and a little default femshep).

Liara's death? As long as it isn't obligatory or is resulted by some stupid choice like Save Shepard?/Save Liara? ala Vimire. Then I can accept the possibility of her dying in ME3. 

Or if you ask how she should die then it's proberly going to happen in whatever epic final battle that we will have in ME3.

As long as she goes down in a huge hail of bullets! Not like...She gets AID's or anything...It'd have to be pretty epic, but It'd actually have to show her dead, not sort of a 'Oh, I heard Liara's dead' Sort of thing...(It'd be nice and emotional)

If they have to kill Liara. Then better make a good death scene (better than the ME2 ones), preferbly with some epic but sad music to go along with it. And she should die while doing something heroic.

Yeah, not just taking a casual stroll through the ship and getting impaled by a metal beam, or searching for naughtiness on the webz like Jack was, and get blown up by an overload. The sad music would make it better aswell  Like you said.

Hey! I actuely enjoyed both those death scenes. Not because they were well made but ....

As long as it isn't mandatory. A forced death of Shepard or Liara would be reason enough for me not to buy the game. I could maybe accept it if there would be some nice romantic content before, and if the end would be really epic, but frankly I doubt if BioWare is even able to deliver something like that anymore.

Haven't completed DA yet but I heard than unless you do a certain thing, then a character is doomed to die. Hopefully they won't pull such a dick move on us, but you can never be too sure.

IF they have to do a "somebody has to die" then they better give us the option to escape such a fate by making Admiral Xen pregnant.

Just be prepared for Liara either getting angry at Shepard  for chosing one over the many, or getting guilty because so many people died due to her.

Though while I imagine that would be a realistic reaction, I imagine for game purposes she wouldn't react like that. Afterall - what a way to reward the player for making such a difficult decision - more angst.

I think she should be potentially killable out of fairness to the rest of our former team. I wouldn't choose her over the rest of my team or even certain individual team members. I couldn't choose any of my team over a large group of people.

Why wouldn't it be a good way to reward the player?

Those who sacrifice their LI (in our case Liara). Will get the underlying mesage that while selfless heros might save those around them, they often lose everything they care about themselves.

Basicly, Bioware should be telling the player: "See! You acted like a hero, but remember. being a hero never pays off when it comes to personal stuff!"

But where people who chose to save their LI. Will be told through the LI that thousand of people died because of their selfish feelings.

I don't mind Shepard dying for some reason, but I couldn't handle a forced Liara death

I think Liara's death will be optional (unless they have plans to use her character down the road in other media).
