I hope that in ME3 ther will be no deaths of squadmates or important NPC the possible deaths in ME2 are already too many possible deaths. Mandatory deaths should never be implemented in an game that is about choice like ME. And I would save Liara even if that means let the rest of the galaxy dies.

I think there will be one or two hard choices in ME3. There should be. The trick is that the options should be roughly equal. Not "the galaxy or the girl." The galaxy would win every time for me. Maybe I'm romance deficient, but there it is.

I plan on having the happiest possible ending ever! The galaxy is saved, everyone survives, all personal problems are resolved, the geth and quarians are happy friends again, the krogan are cured, Thane is cured, Jacob stops using the phrase 'priiiiize', Tali gets a new quarian homeworld and a new home, Liara and Shepard ride off into the sunset, Legion fixes that hole in his armor, Garrus fixes his face, Jack gets a cool new tattoo to commemorate it all, etc., etc.

I think she should be potentially killable out of fairness to the rest of our former team. I wouldn't choose her over the rest of my team or even certain individual team members. I couldn't choose any of my team over a large group of people.

I don't know what you mean with "fairness". I take it you don't mean the kind of fairness that maintains some of the former companions and even elevates them to LIs, while tossing others aside like a ragdoll?

I really hope they don't do that....I don't think they will.   I wouldn't mind a 'Shepard or Liara' choice, though.  You're gonna die Shepard...sorry.

I think there will be some hard choices, possibly like the end of ME1, where you have to choose between the Council and human Alliance lives.  I believe (or hope) that deaths of squad mate characters will be avoidable if one wishes, just like in ME2.  No one ever dies on my suicide mission, and that's how I like.

Then following the sense of fairness the ME2 LI should be keep off ME3 like they keept the ME1 LI off ME2.
I hope not I want all the ME1 and ME2 squadmates in ME3 and impossible to kill. But to be fair that is what should happen.

By "fairness" I mean that she is the only team member across both games who cannot die. I think players who want to kill her should have the option to do so, if--if--if they wish.

Don't mind me. I'd do it once to see what it changed and never again. But I do understand the cathartic effect of killing off a character you despise.

But why? No one cared what we wanted either. The people who don't like Liara had a whole game (almost) without her as a result. Is that still not enough? <_<

Why not? Keep in mind I'm talking aboit an optional death, not something forced on you and preferably something that's as a result of screwing up. It's the final act. Time for everyone to lose their Plot Armor.

If they want to make things fair in this way she should have been a squadmate in ME2 then she would have the same chances that all others squadmates have they haven't they missed their chance there will be no fairness for us if we had to go throught ME2 without our favorite character and in ME3 we would be the only ones that would be forced to do extra work to keep her alive or be the only ones facing this kind of choice.

So anyway, is there any preferable order of planets for ME 1? Picking up Liara first goes without saying, hardest fight in the whole game or not. But then? Is there any difference anywhere depending on your progress in the romance?

There might be slight dialog changes with the alliance squadmates depending on your order of completion on the diffrent plot worlds. Could also be the case for Liara but i'm not sure.

But if you ask for what makes sense from a story perspective then Therum>Feros>Virmire>Noveria>Finale IMO.

I let Noveria for the last before Virmire  when Liara and Shepard are already together this way Shepard can confort her after her mother dies and Liara don't have to face this alone. There are no diference in the dialoge or romance that I know but IMO makes more sence this way.

I go,

Therum, Feros, Noveria, Virmire.

There's no difference to the romance.  I just don't like having the big 'I'm attracted to you Shepard' dialog right after Benezia dies.  So, with my order, this happens after Feros.

I usually go Therum, Noveria, Feros and Virmire, though it has more to do with my P/R score than romance. I've never done Therum last. Maybe I should try it next game and finally see the Easter egg dialogue.

Feros (paragon goes to save colonists first), Therum, sidemissions, Noveria, sidemissions, Virmire. Only took Therum last to avoid romance, can´t bear her sadness when you tell her you are not in love with her.
