She is a Maiden now.  Maybe she's been feeling those impulses.  If she's been stressed out this entire time, she's doubtlessly needed to have outlets for relieving her stress.   What those are, exactly, are not for you or me to know.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking...Shepard can't judge her for that :P

I actually wouldn't mind, personally.  I know people around here freak about the Liara/Feron thing, but I think it could add an interesting dynamic to the Shep/Liara relationship if it were true...

It just brings us back to the original statement.

Now seriously "having needs" IMO don't justify or make beter Shepard or Liara betraying each other.

I don't think it's a betrayal, if role-played properly.  It could all still end with happy Shep and Liara.

Like, if Liara did have a thing with Feron, I wouldn't expect that to be absolute.  I feel that Liara would still love Shepard completely and without doubt, but perhaps just projected her feelings for Shepard onto Feron and is ultimately confused by the whole thing?

She'd still end up with Shepard in the end, though.  It could be a really good and 'realistic' love story (this stuff happens all the time in RL), but I don't think most fans would like this, though.

The Shep I roleplay actually has a lot in common with Feron, so this would fit into my personal 'canon'.

I guess I'm guilty of getting a little irritable about Liara and Feron thing (or anybody else really). Thinking about it now though, I don't feel as upset about it as I used to. In fact I kind of agree with J. It would add an "interesting dynamic" to the relationship. I'm all for drama and angst, but I do want the Liara/Shep relationship to overcome it, not be consumed by it. If they went that route it could be a beautiful love story. My real worry about the situation now is "how  baddly could BW screaw it up", if  they go that route.

Paraphrasing here, "if the player is faithful to the ME1 love interest they are "rewarded" for the loyalty in ME3." Consider the source of that statement, Casey Hudson. A guy who can stretch the meaning of a word to the very breaking point (and sometimes beyond). Also consider the ME1 and ME2 triangles. Shepard ultimately has the last say who he or she will end up with. I would bet money that even if you cheated on Liara in ME2, you could ultimately end up w/ her at the end of ME3. If you stay loyal throughout the series you will be "rewarded" with a couple of lines of extra dialog. Sorry to be a downer, but CHUD's spin has lowered my faith in BW as a company, and I honestly don't expect much more.

They would overcome it, of course.

I'm thinking of the only time BW has done something like this...in Baldur's Gate 2. One of the romanceable females also became interested in another dude in the party. Eventually, there was a 'confrontation' and she picks the PC character, of course.

Even if you decide to let them stay together, she eventually dumps him b/c he is a douche. She didn't really love him at all, and loved the PC character only.

Like the word 'female' or the phrase 'lesbian relationship' :P

That's kind of why I like the Liara/Feron thing.  It seems that everyone throws themselves at Shepard, but no one else has any other interests?  This would hurt the 'Shepard is a Mary/Marty sue' thing a bit, if she/he has to contend with another for once.  Shepard would still win though....

Ahh, I never played BG2 *is ashamed*
If the relationship took a spin similar to that, with a happy ending. I actually wouldn't mind that at all.

Well yeah, ultimately, Liara would love Shepard and only Shepard..she would just be confused for a bit.  Like I said, it would be the case of her just projecting her feeling for Shepard onto another to ease the pain of losing the Commander.

I hope that they don't go this way but this path has a great dramatic potential that's is true.

I don't believe there is a Liara/Feron thing going on, but if there was it would simply be, as MW alluded to, Liara projecting Shepard into Feron. Still, I do agree w/ the others that it would make an interesting diversion from the ME norm.

I think he is being tortured and when Liara finds him, he will die in her arms.

OK, then what about another asari? Like Shiala?  Perhaps she was only hitting on Shepard in hopes of gaining a Shepard/Liara/Shiala threesome?

I believe he is already dead, all she will find is a corpse.

Yeah, they won't do it, as there is no hint of it in the comic, and the Shep/Liara romance has been through enough as it is.  It could be interesting, though.

Although I would personally be really good with that, Shiala truly is interested in Shepard since she showed her kindness when most any other would have executed her. This is, of course, if you paragon her.  I think Shiala could be a very sweet and meaningful romance for a Shepard...

Oh! Interesting thought.. Would a 3 way meld be possible? Oh my that could be intense!
