She is barely over 100 years old. She's definitely in the Maiden stage.

I think its a light glitch when she is in certain areas. Like when she stand and look about with her back to you she is all blueish but when she sits down she seriously look like an asari on crack who hasnt slept in days.

Doubt it. The game does have issues with lighting in some areas, but it wouldn't just affect her face. Clothes look pretty normal to me. It could certainly have to do with the events of the past two years, but of course you can't bring it up. Or, as someone else said, they wanted to make her less appealing. People are already wanting to romance everyone, the last thing BioWare would want is more (new) players asking for a romance with a character they've just went out of their way to marginalize. <_<

Been awhile folks! Still hoping to hear news about Liara's DLC. For those of you who followed and read my story, I truly appreciate your input and all the kind comments. I had an inkling to write an epilogue, which I did. It wraps up the Liara and Shepard romance I think in a very bittersweet way that I will think you appreciate. I kind of got sad writing it though, since maybe I get too into what I am doing...

It is the sixth chapter of my story "The Distance Between Two Stars". Please, let me know what you think and more than anything, I hope you enjoy it.

That was really amazing, very well written. I like it a lot :D

Jumped on the Liara fan art bandwagon. What do you all think?

Posted Image

This isn't the first time I've drawn Liara, but it's the first time it hasn't looked utterly crappy. Now I'm not entirely happy with it so I'll probably be doing more of her in the future. (Oh no, what a nightmare! Haha)

I've had something like this rattling around in my head for a while now, but after I read issue three of Redemption, it basically drew itself.

Heck, this is serve as entry number one in the book of reasons not to cheat on Liara. Posted Image

Hey IndigoWolfe cool drawing it almost looks like Liara in the comic books when she is about to use her biotic. (NICE)

My Shep was pretty pissed off to discover Liara was responsible for handing his dead ass over to Cerberus.

Is this an actual line of dialogue? How do you access it in ME2?

All my FemSheps romanced Liara, and want to continue that romance in ME3...IMHO she ought to be a squadmate, recruitable after taking care of the Shadow Broker...in ME3.

I think you have to pick the 'so am i' renegade response after she tells you...someone correct me if I'm wrong though....

Made a quick comparison shot of two situations with Liara in my ME2 game.
Clearly she is all blue in one area of her office, and in another position she is all greyed like. =/

Mabye its just my game then. I'll take some better screenies once i meet her in my next game.

Oh yes, bump her up there...

Edit: I'm still not entirely certain how it comes up that Liara finds Shep's body...if it ever does.

The Beautiful Blue Goddess needs (and completely deserves) all the love she can get.:wub:<3<3:wub::wub:

@IndigoWolfe: Great picture.
Yeah, anyone who cheated on Liara is going to regret it (I think it is impossible to cheat on the Lovely Liara<3:wub:).

@justin: Very nice Liara signature you made.
How did you know I loved that quote? :D

I just rescued Liara in ME1. <3
I love her, she is always so cute.:wub:<3<3
Liara in ME1 has an innocence, but she is worldy at the same time.
It pains me to see Liara in ME2, knowing she is now emotionally suffering because of what she had to go through to get Shepard back.

Anyone notice that when Shep says, "Good to have you on the team Liara". He/She seems to smile while saying it? (I am assuming MaleShep smiles as well). It was always love at first sight.

I still wish that the ME2 combat system was in ME1, lol.

ME2 will be a lot better when the Liara Expansion comes out.
Another reason it has to come out, in my opinion, is because the story is far too large to fit into a side mission in ME3.
Liara couldn't suddenly say, "Shepard, I have suddenly found the most powerful being in the galaxy all by myself when no one else could. I somehow have his exact location and he has almost no guards, let us kill him".
It just couldn't be done in ME3, there has to be a full Expansion to tell the story.

I still believe BW could fit something in the Expansion for the other ME1 LI fans, their writers are good enough to pull that off.
It makes me excited thinking about it, BW could not even do the Expansion unless it had an emotional, deep, and beautiful storyline. (And romantic for all of us who romanced Liara<3).
Why would BW even bother writing the comics and having the SB involved if they didn't have something great planned?
They could have skipped the comic books and just said, "Cerberus got your body, that is all there is to it".
Instead, they actually came up with reasons, a story, and put Liara as the main character.

Liara is my Love. :wub::wub:<3<3:wub::wub:

I feel like we should give you an award for positive thinking, Stubbs (or should I call you General? ^_^).  I went back to find this post once I got home to quote it -- again, Mobile Opera doesn't like this page that much, more's the pity -- just because it flat-out brightened my day by itself.  (Does that say anything about me? ... well, possibly that I need very little encouragement to have my day brightened.)
But I think we, or at the very least, I, should try to look on the bright side.  Our Liara is, put it simply, by dint of a decision or two that BW made, the co-star.  We know Liara will be in the last game, whereas the only other guarantee... is one of the two Alliance soldiers (the other being dead at the present time, to quote Tug McGraw about Casey Stengel).  They may have to marginalize Tali and Garrus for putting them into the squad this time around, though I'm personally not happy about that fact -- I maintain that Tali and Garrus are almost Mordin-awesome in ME2.  (Though I stopped talking to Garrus around the time the relationship trigger showed up, because I wanted to be sure I was looking at LiLi before the relay.  Then again, he can get the 'just friends' talk, right?  So I don't have to rudely let him down.  I'll be sure to do that next time around.)
But to stay on topic ... I'm glad I'll have Liara in ME3 for sure.  I don't even need her to be on the Normandy before that, and I'll take quite a few excuses as to why she isn't standing next to Mordin in the sci lab or sitting next to Dr. Chakwas in the med lab, all the way up to "I have to tie up a few loose ends, but don't worry I'll be here for you when you need me :kissing:".  I'd appreciate it if Liara DLC gets released, and if my Shep gets to hold her LiLi at least once three times in the course of it ;), but heck, even that can get a pass if the dialogue is good.

Anyway, that's my two credits for the night.  And my random thought of the night is ":wub:I love my LiLi:wub: and I think she'd be a great stand in for Abby on NCIS one week".

Just for a direct comparison. She's still decidedly less blue than in the original. I think the light in front of her desk casts some kind of softening bloom effect that makes her seem even more pale though.

It seems like they're always trying to play off Liara's colors when they place her in a scene; she's very seldom in neutral lighting.

I'm a guy whose FemSheps all love Liara (it's not just the sex, mind -- I'm not a complete pig over hereB)), and I agree with everything that you and Stubbs wrote. The only question I have is...how certain are you that a Liara-based expansion is coming for ME2?

Sitting on the PC is a file that says "liara_dlc_something". We know there are high hopes for a Liara based DLC in the future. A full expansion? I think that's people thinking the Shadow Broker plot is going to be really really big.
