I'm not jumping to any conclusions until Star Wars: The Old Republic is finished. Then we'll start hearing things on ME3.
Two diffrent teams Spornicus. Chud has already stated in the upcoming months we will get some info on ME3, most likely a teaser.

There will be a confrontation. Romances are one of the most popular aspects of ME3, and the creators have said there would be consequences for cheating. Don't count out Bioware yet.
Of course I know there will a confrontation! I just said that it should be later in the game. So there will be givin enough time to improve the ME1 LI's image, and to put the ME2 LI's in a negative light.
All I know is that if Bioware pulls the same sh*t they did with the ME LI wih the ME2 lI, I don't think my heart could take it.
It shouldn't be as bad as the ME1 LI's in ME2. BUt enough to put the ratio of people who went back to the ME1 LI to 40-50% of those who cheated.
I don't think my heart could take it again. It was bad enough Bioware ripped it out, stomped on it, stabed it and spat on it and gave it back to me during the ME LI cameo scenes.
Don't worry Kraidy. You will come over it.... Eventually.
Beside: It's for the greater good!

Hello!
Oh, and what you said regarding dry humour is very, very true. One of Liara's elevator conversations with Garrus is hilarious. She asks him if he's enjoying the mission, or something in that vein. Garrus responds by saying that tracking down Saren without restrictions imposed on him like they were back at C-Sec beats anything. Liara's response?
"I'm not sure the imminent threat of extinction of all organic life "beats" anything."

I wonder if any of the other ME characters can pull off dry humor?

What about on Noveria, when the rachni first appear? The other squadmate freaks out, exclaiming "What the hell are those?!" Liara responds, with a straight face, "Xenobiology is not my field."
Wrex: what the hell are those?
Liara: Xenobiology is not my field.
Me:....Really.....you can say that with a straight face? *bows* Madam you are a dry humor goddess!
