Of course I know there will a confrontation! I just said that it should be later in the game. So there will be givin enough time to improve the ME1 LI's image, and to put the ME2 LI's in a negative light.
All I know is that if Bioware pulls the same sh*t they did with the ME LI wih the ME2 lI, I don't think my heart could take it.
It shouldn't be as bad as the ME1 LI's in ME2. BUt enough to put the ratio of people who went back to the ME1 LI to 40-50% of those who cheated.
I don't think my heart could take it again. It was bad enough Bioware ripped it out, stomped on it, stabed it and spat on it and gave it back to me during the ME LI cameo scenes.
Don't worry Kraidy. You will come over it.... Eventually.

Oh, and Liara's dry and witty sense of humour is hilarious. Earlier on, I was playing ME1 and was on Feros. As Shepard and the rest of the squad departed from Zhu's Hope in the Mako in order to reach the ExoGeni building, Liara said something like "Now, on to the geth base. Not something an intelligent being would normally say."

Oh, and what you said regarding dry humour is very, very true. One of Liara's elevator conversations with Garrus is hilarious. She asks him if he's enjoying the mission, or something in that vein. Garrus responds by saying that tracking down Saren without restrictions imposed on him like they were back at C-Sec beats anything. Liara's response?
"I'm not sure the imminent threat of extinction of all organic life "beats" anything."
