Yes, a good writer could do a lot with that. But a (possible) happy end is a must in any case.

I want that too. And for me the best possible ending for Liara and Shepard romance is with Shepard living as long as Liara that way they can spent all their lives thogether.

I don't really like the idea of Shepard living as long as Liara. I't would take away some of the drama of the relationship.

I don't really like the idea of Shepard living as long as Liara. I't would take away some of the drama of the relationship.

That will be replaced by the drama added by Shepard becaming part reaper by something that was donne to him in the Lazarus project and the guilt that Liara would feel for that and the drama that their relationship would have during the time before Shepard is able to stop the transformation.

So Shepard will become a beacon of indoctrination or something like that? Which would make it impossible for Shepard to ever "embrace eternity" with Liara because if she did, her mind would be overpowered by the indoctrination signals by having a direct link with Shepard.

But that would ruin any chance for Liara and Shepard to have a relationship!

Part reaper not a complete reaper Shepard would retain some organic parts that would be sustained by the reaper tech incresing his life, but this organic  parts would still give Shepard  the ability to embrace eternety with Liara.

I can already see it Liara dying of old age Shepard would be part reaper but reapers live for milions of years so by the time Liara was dying of old age Shepard would still have some thousands of years to live but he would chose to shut the tech inside him to die with Liara.

No, that's why I don't see them extending Shepard's life just in the Liara romance. Some who did not romance her will be upset 'cause their totally cool bada** Shepard doesn't get to live to be 1000 years old.

All Shepards would live 1000 years  even if they didin't romanced Liara old like I said that would be the drama of the others romances.

But Shepard will most likely already outlive the other LIs because of all the "upgrades" Cerberus did. I would guestimate that Shepard will probably get 2-2.5 times that of the normal human, and possibly a bit longer with future tech...

Yeah, then those that romanced any other will complain because now their romance is tragic, as their Shepards don't get to grow old together with Ash/Kaidan/Tali/Thane/Miranda/Jack/Jacob/Garrus and will outlive them by 800 years.
